[PATCH] fish: add option --blocksize for disks
When --blocksize <val> is provided, qemu command line would add physical_block_size=<val>,physical_logical_size=<val> to -device directive. Example: qemu-kvm \ -drive file=raw.img,cache=writeback,id=hd0,if=none \ -device scsi-hd,drive=hd0,physical_block_size=4096,logical_block_size=4096 \ Signed-off-by: Tuan Hoang <tmhoang@linux.ibm.com> --- fish/fish.c |

[PATCH] rescue: fix sscanf placeholders for --smp and --memsize
Use %d to parse them as int (since the variables for them as int) instead of %u, even if they both need to be at least > 0. --smp was already checked to be >= 1 while --memsize not, so check that the specified memory size is not < 128 (which is semi-arbitrary, but enough as a minimum threshold). --- rescue/rescue.c | 12 ++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 10 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-)

[PATCH] fish, fuse: Remove bogus '?' from short options.
I don't believe this has any use or meaning. Currently the tools don't process -?, eg: $ guestfish -\? Try `guestfish --help' for more information. Therefore I believe this is erroneous. --- fish/fish.c | 2 +- fuse/guestmount.c | 2 +- fuse/guestunmount.c | 2 +- 3 files changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/fish/fish.c b/fish/fish.c index

[nbdkit PATCH] main: More idiomatic use of getopt_long
Prefer named constants over magic numbers in the 'struct option' list, and expand the list of enums for long-only options so that the call to getopt_long() can switch directly to every option, rather than needing a lengthy if/else chain that grows for every new long option. Patch best viewed with whitespace changes ignored. Signed-off-by: Eric Blake <eblake@redhat.com> ---

[common PATCH v2 1/1] options: add '--blocksize' option for C-based tools
From: Nikolay Ivanets <stenavin@gmail.com> This patch adds '--blocksize' command line option parsing and handling for guestfish and other C-based tools which share the same code from this sub-module. '--blocksize' will be a common for almost all libguestfs-based tools and thus parameter description will be repeated all the time. Let's move it into blocksize-option.pod

[nbdkit PATCH v2 4/5] main: Use new bool parser for --tls
Our use of --tls is a superset of boolean because we add a force mode; but once we have checked for that, it's more consistent if we accept the same set of other boolean values as anything else (in this case, adding 'yes/no' and 'true/false'), as well as consistently allowing case-insensitivity. The error message for an unrecognized spelling changes from: $ nbdkit --tls huh
