[PATCH v2 1/1] Switch from YAJL to Jansson
While YAJL mostly works fine, it did not see any active development in
the last 3 years. OTOH, Jansson is another JSON C implementation, with
a very liberal license, and a much nicer API.
Hence, switch all of libguestfs from YAJL to Jansson:
- configure checks, and buildsystem in general
- packages pulled in the appliance
- actual implementations
- contrib scripts
- documentation

Notes on compiling libguestfs 1.24 on RHEL 6.4
(Actually, libguestfs from git, but 1.24 and git are pretty close now)
First install augeas 1.0.0 from here:
http://oirase.annexia.org/tmp/libguestfs-RHEL-6.5/
Check out libguestfs from git.
You'll need to create two files in the libguestfs source directory:
"localconfigure" containing:

source localenv

[PATCH] build: Don't test for qemu virtio-serial at configure time.
qemu has supported virtio-serial since forever, and we depend on much
newer features now, so testing for virtio-serial is pointless.
In fact allowing a set of possible qemu binaries to be supplied is
also pointless, since packagers or even people building from source
know what qemu binary they want to use.
Now the possible options for --with-qemu are:
* --with-qemu=search (or --with-qemu

fetching virt-p2v GUI on fedora 21
We need one simple deployment of converting a given server with some OS converted to a Virtual Machine.
i.e.
-> to have a simple Linux/fedora machine and install apache or any web server for testing or any application for that matter - the purpose here is to see if this application works after the conversion to a virtual machine
-> Convert P2V using the tools.
-> Start virtual machine

libguestfs for RHEL 6.5 preview repository
In RHEL 6.5 we are probably going to rebase libguestfs, febootstrap
and virt-v2v.
As usual when this happens, I've put up a preview repository:
http://oirase.annexia.org/tmp/libguestfs-RHEL-6.5/
If you want to use these packages, the easiest thing to do is to copy
the attached file into /etc/yum.repos.d/ and simply install or upgrade
libguestfs.
If you want to test libguestfs, obviously

FC22: virt-p2v-make-kickstart/livecd-creator doesn't build
Hello,
I am trying to make a .iso to p2v some old windows servers, and I
installed a brand new FC22 server to build my images
I run
virt-p2v-make-kickstart fedora
livecd-creator p2v.ks
and I get the following error:
Installing: grubby ##################### [435/436]
Installing: uboot-tools ##################### [436/436]

FYI: Some changes to libguestfs / libguestfs-winsupport / virt-v2v / virt-p2v in RHEL 7.2
libguestfs is a set of tools for reading and modifying disk images and
virtual machines. virt-v2v and virt-p2v are tools for converting
guests from foreign hypervisors (especially VMware, Xen), or physical
machines, to run on KVM (eg. virt-manager, OpenStack/RHOS or oVirt/RHEV).
This is just a heads-up about some changes to the way libguestfs and
related packages will be packaged in RHEL 7.2.

[PATCH 1/2] build: factor out the OCaml link.sh scripts
Create a single ocaml-link.sh script, which supports a -cclib parameter
so it can be used instead of the per-project link.sh scripts.
As result, the libraries for each OCaml application can be moved back to
each Makefile.am.
