[PATCH 0/2] customize: Fix hostname setting in Debian/Ubuntu.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1372269
It was fairly broken. This fixes it -- except on Ubuntu 10.04 --
and adds a slow test.

[PATCH] customize: allow missing SELINUXTYPE in SELinux config
libselinux defaults to "targeted" when no SELINUXTYPE is specified in
/etc/config/selinux. Hence do the same here, instead of failing because
of the missing key.
Add a slow test for checking SELinux relabeling on a Fedora 27 guest,
both with no changes, and with a modified configuration.

[PATCH 1/2] customize: Fix firstboot scripts on Debian 6 & 7 (RHBZ#1019388).
I have only verified the fix on Debian 7.
The Debian 6 guest doesn't appear to boot, I'm not sure why.
The second patch contains a test suite.

[PATCH 0/2] builder: Add test that a serial console is set up for guest templates we supply.
The first of two sets of patches.
This checks that the templates we supply have the serial console
enabled, or in two cases, that the serial console can be enabled by
fiddling with some grub config.
The second set of patches (to follow) will test that the --password
and --root-password options work. This implementation of this is
quite complex.

[PATCH 0/3] tests: Define common test functions.
Previously I posted a work-in-progress preview of this patch series:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2017-February/msg00224.html
This is the finished version that updates all of the shell-script
based tests. It passes 'make check', 'make check-direct' and
'make check-slow'.

[PATCH 0/6] p2v: start making it independent
As preliminary steps in splitting virt-p2v to an own repository,
start making p2v more independent within libguestfs. This is
accomplished by the following changes:
- generate the p2v kernel config sources & docs at build time using a
Perl script, rather than the generator (so no need for OCaml when
building from git, and no generated sources in dist tarballs)
- create two local test

[PATCH] virt-builder.pod: Update Fedora versions
This is just a mechanincal change, so that the public documentation[*]
refers to the latest release Fedora versions, instead of the EOLed
versions.
While at it, also update the `virt-cutomize` Makefile.am

Splitting the large libguestfs repo
I got a little way into this. The two attached patches are
preliminary work.
My proposed split is:
libguestfs.git
common -> git submodule libguestfs-common.git
generator/
lib/
all language bindings
C based tools (eg. virt-df, virt-edit, guestfish)
guestfs-tools.git
common -> git submodule libguestfs-common.git

[PATCH] customize: firstboot: make sure to run Linux scripts only once
If a script does not finish, hangs, etc, it would be executed again at
the next boot, since the injected firstboot.sh helper removes it only
after it finished.
Since firstboot.sh only runs executable files, then remove the
executable attributes before running it, so it will not run again.
Also, remove any file found in the scripts subdirectory, be it just run
or run in a previous boot.

[PATCH 0/3] RFC: v2v: add -o json output mode
This series adds a new output mode for virt-v2v, called -o json.
It produces local files, just like -o local, although the metadata
produced is a JSON file with data that v2v collected in the conversion
process. This can be useful for converting to unsupported destinations,
still based on QEMU/KVM.
In addition to a simple different metadata, it offers a way to relocate
the disks, with

[PATCH] customize: Move virt-customize-related code to a separate
There's not going to be an easy way to present this patch. It's huge
and interconnected.
Anyway, what it does is lay the groundwork for a new tool which I'm
calling 'virt-customize'. virt-customize is virt-builder, but without
the part where it downloads a template from a respository. Just the
part where it customizes the template, that is, installing packages,
editing

[PATCH] customize: firstboot: make sure to run Linux scripts only once
If a script does not finish, hangs, etc, it would be executed again at
the next boot, since the injected firstboot.sh helper removes it only
after it finished.
Before executing a script, move it to another internal subdirectory
(scripts-done) and execute it from there, so it is not run again by
firstboot.sh. The downside is that now scripts are executed only once
at all, so if a script fails it
