[PATCH] mllib: factor out mounting of guest root
Introduce and use a new inspect_mount_root function to mount all the mountpoints of a root in the guest, replacing the same code doing that in different tools. inspect_mount_root_ro is inspect_mount_root with readonly mount option. --- builder/builder.ml | 10 +--------- customize/customize_main.ml | 9 +-------- get-kernel/get_kernel.ml | 9 +--------

[PATCH 3/3] sysprep: fix btrfs subvolume processing in fs-uuids
guestfs_set_uuid wants device as argument. Moreover, btrfstune -U is unable to set uuid for subvolumes, only unmounted partitions are supported. [PATCH 0/3] sparsify: Ignore read-only LVs (RHBZ#1185561).
virt-sparsify shouldn't die if sparsifying a filesystem that contains read-only LVs. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1185561 I thought about trying to make the LV writable temporarily, but I suspect that if the sysadmin has made the LV read-only, then they probably did it for a reason, so we shouldn't touch it. [PATCH 0/3] add crypto/LUKS support in some OCaml-based tools
Hi, this series refactors some guestfish code (not much), and exposes it via Common_utils, so it is possible to decrypt LUKS partitions when using virt-customize, virt-get-kernel, virt-sparsify, and virt-sysprep. This brings them closer in features with C tools. Most probably a couple more of other OCaml-based tools (virt-v2v to convert encrypted guests, and virt-builder to use encrypted

[PATCH] generator: Share Common_utils code.
For a very long time we have maintained two sets of utility functions, in mllib/common_utils.ml and generator/utils.ml. This changes things so that the same set of utility functions can be shared with both directories. It's not possible to use common_utils.ml directly in the generator because it provides several functions that use modules outside the OCaml stdlib. Therefore we add some

[PATCH 00/12] Refactor utility functions.
This turned out to be rather more involved than I thought. We have lots of utility functions, spread all over the repository, with not a lot of structure. This moves many of them under common/ and structures them so there are clear dependencies. This doesn't complete the job by any means. Other items I had on my to-do list for this change were: - Split up mllib/common_utils into: -
