IMHO it should be called -i, like in the other tools, as what --autosysroot does is basically the same. > Commands are passed on kernel command line in format >

[PATCH 1/2] rescue: Suggest using recursive bind mounts.

[PATCH] New tool: virt-tail.
This adds a new tool which does a follow operation (ie. tail -f) on one or more log/text files inside the guest. I've only done limited testing, but it works for me for tailing various long-running builds inside guests which I'm doing at the moment. There are no tests at present. Rich.

[PATCH v3 0/2] New tool: virt-tail.
Since v2: - Fix the things that Pino mentioned, except the recursion. - Implement Windows support. For Windows support to be sane, I had to inline the add_and_mount code. Rich.

[PATCH 0/5] bash completion: Add missing bash completion scripts (RHBZ#1367738).
This implements most of RHBZ#1367738. I didn't bother with virt-v2v-copy-to-local and virt-win-reg, but all the other tools now have full bash completion. Rich.

[PATCH 0/2] RFC: --key option for tools
Hi, the following series adds a --key option in the majority of tools: this makes it possible to pass LUKS credentials programmatically, avoid the need to manually input them, or unsafely pass them via stdin. [PATCH WIP 0/5] Fix virt-rescue.
This set of patches fixes virt-rescue rather cleanly. In particular the problems with handling ^C are completely fixed. Work still to be done before this can go upstream: - Shutdown doesn't work properly if you exit the shell. At the moment to exit you must do 'reboot -f'. Future improvements: - An escape sequence and escape commands that could be handled by virt-rescue,

[PATCH 0/3] Use gnulib's getprogname
Hi, this series update libguestfs to a recent gnulib version, so that we can use its new getprogname module, and solve altogether one of the porting issues (the need for 'program_name' by the error module of gnulib), and have a single way to get the name of the current program. A number of changes in tools mostly, although mechanical. Thanks, Pino Toscano (3): Update gnulib to latest

[PATCH 0/5] Fix virt-rescue.
This fixes the main issues in virt-rescue and is usable. There are some enhancements which could be made (in follow up work): - An escape sequence and escape commands that could be handled by virt-rescue, eg. to shut down the appliance, mount or unmount filesystems. - `virt-rescue -i' could be implemented cleanly by performing the right API calls before handing control to the

(no subject)
Hi, we needed these changes when we had to build a guest image compatible with a starting guest image but not backed by it in any way? We needed some tool to check our progress, comparing original and? rebuilt (from scratch) images, and virt-diff seemed the best option, but? we had to soften the comparison to reduce the noise in the output. I added some options to ignore certain informations when
