[PATCH 00/13] code refactorings for tools
Hi, this series does a couple of code reorganizations/refactoring in code used by tools: the windows path handling code, and the two types of file editing (using editor, and using perl expression). There's still a code duplication between the two variants of file editing, but it is just within a single source, and can be easily solved now (planning as next step). Pino Toscano (13): edit:

[PATCH 0/5] RFC: switch augeas APIs to OCaml
This synchronizes the embedded ocaml-augeas copy, and reimplements the augeas APIs using it (dropping all the C code). The behaviour seems unchanged, although I may have not tested all the various corner cases. Pino Toscano (5): common/mlaugeas: Synchronize with latest ocaml-augeas daemon: fix/enhance error reporting of Augeas exceptions Revert "Revert "daemon: implement

[PATCH 0/2] Move ocaml-augeas copy to libguestfs repo
ocaml-augeas is used only by virtlibguestfs, so move it to this repository, instead of having it around in the common submodule. The removal from common will happen later. Did it cause any particular issue? (Not that it is a problem, just to know whether it was doing anything problematic.) Thanks, -- Pino Toscano

[PATCH 0/3] add crypto/LUKS support in some OCaml-based tools
Hi, this series refactors some guestfish code (not much), and exposes it via Common_utils, so it is possible to decrypt LUKS partitions when using virt-customize, virt-get-kernel, virt-sparsify, and virt-sysprep. This brings them closer in features with C tools. Most probably a couple more of other OCaml-based tools (virt-v2v to convert encrypted guests, and virt-builder to use encrypted

[W/ commit: 838a3c9] "inconsistent assumptions over interface Guestfs"
Just did a git pull to the below commit (to get the latest version 1.25.37) and did a local build, this is what I see: Error: The files ../ocaml/guestfs.cmi and perl_edit.cmi make inconsistent assumptions over interface Guestfs Haven't investigated further, thought I'd post it here first: $ git rev-parse --short HEAD 838a3c9 $ ./autogen.sh $

[PATCH] automake: Admit defeat and use 'subdir-objects'.
Because this 'feature' is broken (since 2013): https://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=13928 we have to replace all instances of $(top_srcdir) in *_SOURCES lines with a relative path. According to what I read, this shouldn't break split builds, but I didn't test it. The only things automake moans about now are: * Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated, passed

[PATCH 0/1] WIP: Support LUKS-encrypted partitions
The following patch attempts to implement sparsification of LUKS-encrypted partitions. It uses lsblk to pair the underlying LUKS block device with its mapped name. Also, --allow-discards was added by default to luks_open(). There are several potential issues that I can think of: 1) If and entire device is encrypted (not just one of more partitions), the lsblk trick might not work. 2) The

[PATCH] customize: Move virt-customize-related code to a separate
There's not going to be an easy way to present this patch. It's huge and interconnected. Anyway, what it does is lay the groundwork for a new tool which I'm calling 'virt-customize'. virt-customize is virt-builder, but without the part where it downloads a template from a respository. Just the part where it customizes the template, that is, installing packages, editing

[PATCH 2/3] mllib: expose disk decrypt functionalities
Expose via Common_utils the C functions & variables (part of guestfish) that handle decryption of LUKS partitions, and the additional command line arguments to tune the way they work. [PATCH] customize: Add --ssh-inject option for injecting SSH keys.
This adds a customize option: virt-customize --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] virt-builder --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] virt-sysprep --ssh-inject USER[=KEY] In each case this either injects the current (host) user's ssh pubkey into the guest user USER (adding it to ~USER/.ssh/authorized_keys in the guest), or you can specify a particular key. For example: virt-builder fedora-20 --ssh-inject root
