guestmount issues with --live, but guestfish works just fine
Hello all, I am having an issue with guestmount in respect to live instances and I was hoping someone might have an idea where I've gone wrong. The following output is from my shell session, if there's any more information needed please let me know and I'll happily provide it. SOS: Production VM not starting!
I am using a VM with CentOS 5.8 x86_64 under KVM. I only have console access to the VM through a virtual console (web based). Tonight, after a routine "yum update", I did a "shutdown -r now" due to kernel update and the VM won't start. See console screenshot vm1.png: https://vmail.noa.gr/files/vm1.png There is an error (which I haven't seen before): type=1404

Flags/tags lost when moving e-mails to another folder
Hi, I have an issue with e-mail tags/flags. The IMAP user is using Thunderbird or Roundcube with Thunderbird tags. When the user (with an IMAP client) moves an e-mail from a folder to another, tags set on the e-mail are lost. When we check the filesystem, we can see the "a" tag: -rw-rw---- 2 test mailusers 2498 Dec 29 15:31

New with Libvirt and having problems.
Hi all. I've been playing around with KVM for a bit now and have several virtual machines up and running. Having passed what I considered "first look" stage, I'm ready to start using libvirt as a manager. For reference, pre-libvirt, I have started this VM with: /kvm -net nic, model=virtio -net tap,ifname=tap5,script=no -drive file=test1.img,if=virtio,boot=on -curses

NBDE, clevis and tang for non-root disk
Hi, Has anybody managed to get network disk bound disk encryption to work with a non-root disk? It works fine for the root device, but the moment I add another volume to /etc/crypttab the system will no longer boot automatically. A tcpdump on the tang server shows no traffic while the system is stuck at the LUKS password prompt. The second encrypted volume is set up in the same way as the root

NFS shutdown issue
Hi all, I have an odd interaction on a CentOS 7 file server. The basic setup is a minimal 7.x install. I have 4 internal drives (/dev/sd[a-d]) configured in a RAID5 and mounted locally on /data. This is exported via NFS to ~12 workstations which use the exported file systems for /home. I have an external drive connected via USB (/dev/sde) and mounted on /rsnapshot. I use rsnapshot to back up

[PATCH] : Adding dlabel option to chain.c32
The idea is to boot a disk in an mbr fashion while using the GPT (not filesystem) label to detect the disk. That is useful when you use grub2 & gpt. I was in case where my nodes (100s) have 8 disks each and no guarantee of which disk is "bootable" in the disk. This way I can tell "please boot the disk that have one partition labelled "xyz"". So nothing related

Flags/tags lost when moving e-mails to another folder
I faced the same issue and had to change from maildir to sdbox storage. The imap labels are now stored centrally per folder in an index file and not the filename anymore. Moving mails from one folder to another keeps the lable intact now. Am 22.02.23 um 11:20 schrieb Alexis Ben Miloud--Josselin: > Hi, > > I have an issue with e-mail tags/flags.
