[LLVMdev] Enable debug for MSP430
Hi Gents, For those of us with out-of-tree backends which are not 32bit, the msp430 backend is a useful vehicle for examining changes and testing out ideas. So I was wondering about enabling debug output on the MSP430 backend so that I can illustrate a few issues to Adrian and you on the variable pieces side. (there doesn't appear to be any specific person claiming the msp430 code right

Service.services bug (pure Ruby version)
Hi all, I''ve hit a curious bug in the Service.services method. This is in the pure Ruby version in CVS. Check it out and run this snippet: Service.services{ |s| p s.service_name p s.display_name } That will segfault after about 14 entries for me. It appears to be a problem with memcpy on line 658, but I couldn''t tell you why. The interesting thing is that the more I

[PATCH] libxc/arm: Correctly handle the difference between virtual and physical address
xc_dom_alloc_page deals with virtual address not physical address. When an ELF is loaded, virtual address and physical address may be different.

How to make try to catch warnings in logistic glm
Dear list, >From an earlier post I got the impression that one could promote warnings from a glm to errors (presumably by putting options(warn=1)?), then try() would flag them as errors. I?ve spent half the day trying to do this, but no luck. Do you have an explicit solution? My problems is that I am trying to figure out during what conditions one may find 5 significant parameters in a

[libnbd PATCH] maint: Use $(NULL) for all Makefile.am macro lists
This borrows from a trick in libvirt - by defining $(NULL) to expand to an empty string, we can more consistently write multi-line macros where all useful lines terminate with \, making it easier to add/remove lines without worrying about whether \ needs to be touched up on neighboring lines. --- Looks big, but is fairly mechanical. I'm also doing a similar patch for nbdkit, where it would

Matrix multiplication using apply() or lappy() ?
I am trying to divide the columns of a matrix by the first row in the matrix. I have tried to get this using apply and I seem to be missing a concept regarding the apply w/o calling a function but rather command args %*% / etc. Would using apply be more efficient than this approach? I have observed examples in the archives using this type of approach. Does anybody have a snippet of a call

Bestfortress driver, network serial patch for nut-2.0
Best fortress support was understandably dropped, but we still use them, and someone else may want the driver I ported to nut-2.0. We also often attach the serial cable from a UPS to a network terminal server, since servers these days don't come with very many serial ports. (They call them "legacy" ports.) I submitted a patch to support these for nut-1.x, and it was rejected

[PATCH 0/6] p2v: make it more independent (part #2)
As preliminary steps in splitting virt-p2v to an own repository, continue making p2v more independent within libguestfs. This is accomplished by the following changes: - have only the authors in the about dialog, and read them from a local AUTHORS file - few more cleanups This is still not complete, although I believe most of the work needed is done, and it still makes p2v usable within
