Linuxtag 2009
Cheers.
It is this time of year again: CentOS is going to Linuxtag 2009 (well,
at least we will try to get a booth there). If you want to be part of
the team there, stay tuned for news here in centos-promo at centos.org.
Deadline for the projects is 24th of march (short call!), I will try to
apply sooner than that >:)
Cheers and thanks,
Ralph

New members of the team
I would like to take the time to introduce some new members of the
CentOS team.
We have added some new team members to better handle / respond to
bugs.centos.org issues. They are:
Stephen Smoogen (aka smooge on IRC)
Matthew Miller
Both these guys are regulars on the CentOS lists and are experienced at
supporting distros, they will be a great asset for the CentOS Project.

Problem with SCSI controllers: Anaconda (and kernel option for grub/lilo)
Hi,
I do seem to have a slight problem with upgrading two of our machines to
CentOS (from SuSE, but that doesn't really matter).
Both systems are IBM x-Series 360 with a ServeRaid controller for the
"internal" hard disks an a QLogic QLA2200 fibre channel controller for
an external stack of disks.
On SuSE (kernel 2.4.26) the ServeRaid is controller 0 (resulting in the
internal Raid
