[PATCH 1/2] generator: add a FilenameList parameter type
Mostly like StringList (so it can used in current StringList
parameters), but checking client- and daemon-side that the elements are
file names.

[PATCH 1/2] generator: Simplify the handling of string parameters.
Previously we had lots of types like String, Device, StringList,
DeviceList, etc. where Device was just a String with magical
properties (but only inside the daemon), and DeviceList was just a
list of Device strings.
Replace these with some simple top-level types:
String
StringList
and move the magic into a subtype.
The change is mechanical, for example:

[PATCH 1/4] php: fix invalid memory access with OptString
OptString maps to a "s!" argument, which makes zend_parse_parameters not
touch the variables (char* and length) when NULL is passed as parameter.
Hence, set both to NULL/0, and check for non-NULL char* variable before
checking its length.

[PATCH libguestfs] indent with spaces, not TABs
One more after this, and "make syntax-check" will pass once more.

[PATCH] tests: c-api: add $datadir and $databuilddir
Modify "tests" to expand any kind of environment variable than just
$srcdir; use $datadir and $databuilddir to point to the files in
$srcdir/tests/data and $builddir/tests/data, so it is easier to point at
the data for the tests.
Most of the work (except the $databuilddir and the integration in the
Makefile.am) has been done as part of larger changes by

[PATCH 2/2] generator: Don't permit certain String/stringt combinations.
After the previous commit it become possible to construct various
"impossible" argument types, such as lists of FileIn strings. This
commit prevents these from happening.

[PATCH 0/4] add GUID validation (RHBZ#1008417)
Hi,
this patch serie adds a new GUID type in the generator, which would do
the same as String, but also validating (just in the C output) the
passed GUID string.
This allows to reject invalid GUIDs before passing them to low-level
tools.
Pino Toscano (4):
utils: add a function to validate a GUID string
generator: add a GUID parameter type
generator: generate code for parameter validation

[PATCH] perl: drop %guestfs_introspection stuff
It is not something standard, and actually unused by libguestfs itself.
Possibly going to be used by the old virt-v2v (which was in Perl), but
never used for that either.

[PATCH 1/2] Convert all TABs-as-indentation to spaces.
Per discussion on IRC, here are two changes to
convert all TABs-as-indentation to spaces.
The first one is the fully-automated conversion.
However, note that the command mentioned uses a file
(the .x-sc* one) that is added only in the following patch.
The second patch adds rules to help keep things that way:
Document and enforce the new spaces-only indentation policy.

[PATCH] RFC: php: support PHP 7
Adapt to the API changes in the newer versions of the Zend framework, in
particular regarding:
- strings handling
- resources handling (used for the guestfs_h pointer)
- iterating in hash maps
- data types for function arguments
Introduce helper macros to reduce greatly the amount of #if's all around
the generated C code.

[PATCH 2/2] actions: turn some params into RelativePathnameList (RHBZ#1174551).
Use RelativePathnameList as type for lists of relative paths, as used in
some listing-alike APIs. This way we can ensure absolute paths in those
lists are rejects outright.
As a consequence, test-big-dirs.pl does not need to prepend the
directory name anymore before calling listing-alike APIs: previously
they didn't fail, but the returned lists contained only invalid
elements (and only their

GObject bindings overview
I've summarised how the GObject bindings work below, which should
hopefully help reviewing the generator/generated code.
There are a couple of points in here I'm still not 100% happy with.
Specifically the handling of FBuffer and the Cancellable flag. Both are
explained below. I'm interested in suggestions.
