OCaml 4.09.0 rebuild complete in Rawhide (was: Re: OCaml 4.09.0 will be added to Fedora 32 via a side tag)
This is now complete and soon the new packages will be merged into Fedora Rawhide: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2019-2e0b2d6395 A few non-critical packages failed to build, and I will look at these later unless someone gets around to it before me. The failures are listed at the end. Notable changes: - Release notes: https://ocaml.org/releases/4.09.0.html - ocaml-camlp4

[LLVMdev] Errors building dragonegg 3.3 in Fedora rawhide
Fedora rawhide now builds on ARM as well as 32-bit and 64-bit x86, and while the x86 builds are successful, the ARM build is failing. I was able to fix the first problem, which was reported in a Debian bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=715424 However, there are further build errors for which I haven't found appropriate fixes. It looks like there might be a namespace

"aug_init: Augeas initialization failed" on Fedora
Currently Fedora packages are broken. You'll see this error when libguestfs tries any inspection-related operation: aug_init: Augeas initialization failed The bug and explanation is here (thanks Dominic Cleal): https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=894241#c11 This bug is fixed in the following packages: Fedora 17: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=379590

Re: Anyone seen build hangs (esp armv7, s390x) in Fedora?
[replying here, as I seem to have been dropped from cc on the subthread at https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/ELUEHAA7X7YKU5DFIOBS3UQ5AXQYJWLY/ - maybe I should subscribe to devel@ instead of seeing this second-hand... hmm - I can't even post to devel@ without subscribing, so now just sending this to libguestfs] [adding libguestfs - now

[ANNOUNCE] Stable releases 1.4.1 and 1.2.10, and a note about versions and Fedora releases
Even though the current stable branch is 1.4.x[1] I'm not going to leave the 1.2.x branch to completely wither. I will still pull in any more serious bug fixes into the 1.2.x branch and make an occasional release. Therefore I have released 1.4.1 and 1.2.10 which contain a small number of bug fixes. If you are using earlier 1.4.x or 1.2.x versions, and if you simply want a more stable

Help with testing libguestfs 1.3.12 + new febootstrap
Matt, can you install the latest libguestfs + febootstrap packages on Rawhide and give them a spin: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=173442 http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=173526 The way that the supermin appliance is constructed and booted has changed substantially and I'd like to make sure that we find any bugs early, since we are planning to put

[LLVMdev] LLVM 2.6 pre1: test failures on Fedora 11.91 (Rawhide) ppc
Hello, I'm updating Fedora's LLVM to the latest 2.6 prerelease, and experiencing test failures on ppc. On x86_64 and x86_32 all tests pass as expected. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1660661 (see root.log to see what packages are installed for the build, and build.log for the build log -- 'make check' is called towards the end. [LLVMdev] DragonEgg 3.0 with GCC 4.7
I've been trying to package DragonEgg for Fedora Linux. Fedora 16 has LLVM 2.9 and GCC 4.6, but not the necessary GCC patches. If I build LLVM 3.0 on Fedora 16, then I can build DragonEgg 3.0, and it works fine. However, I can't submit that to the repository. On the other hand, Fedora 17, which just entered Beta, has LLVM 3.0 and GCC 4.7. I wasn't able to build DragonEgg 3.0
