dumping using tftp
I'm not sure to get your point properly. If you need to upload a result to a tftp server, you need to PXE boot hdt to gain the network service. HDT can be booted in PXE by using the hdt.c32 which is available with every syslinux release. Does it make much more meaning ? I also would be very interesting on what is your usage of HDT and expectations ;o) Erwan, 2014-10-09 19:19 GMT+02:00

HDT-0.3.5-pre3 is out
The -pre3 release is out and tends to be the last one before the release. This pre version adds two new features we thought it would be interesting to have in 0.3.5: - Reboot If your system features the reboot.c32 module, the "reboot" command will restart your computer. The floppy/iso images we provides includes this module to enable this feature. - Automatic Commands When starting

HDT 0.5.0 is out
Just a quick note to tell that I did release HDT 0.5.0. Main feature of this release is the dumping of the detected components over TFTP (meaning PXE is _mandatory_ to work). I did fix also the auto mode where more combinations didn't worked as expected. I invite people reading this page that speaks about the dump feature : http://www.hdt-project.org/wiki/Dump But also, this one which

HDT 0.3.4 is out
HDT 0.3.4 has just been released. Since April, due to some important changes, HDT was no more in sync with Syslinux. The 0.3.4 release will solve that major issue and will be part of Syslinux-3.83-pre8. Beside this syncing with Syslinux, this release aims at solving disk's detection bugs and improving the DMI reporting. I would like to thank pam for that though work. He did most (who

HDT 0.3.2-pre1
HDT 0.3.2 is close to be release and will mainly add a better disk management To validate this great work from pierre, we did a -pre1 version to have some users inputs about it. My previous work on disks was a little bit limited and incomplete. Since pierre did a massive rework that allow hdt to feature disks & partitions detection. On the menu side, the "Disk" menu is now

HDT is kind of discontinued... I didn't had time to work on it since a couple of years. It lacks of many updates to be considered valid on recent systems. That said, adding a kind of bogomips to the report could have been an idea yes. But adding a full-featured benchmark was kind out of the scope of HDT. There is already plenty of tools doing that perfectly. Le mar. 17 d?c. 2019 ? 10:10,

How to glue com32 module in grub2 ?
Hello Erwan and others, I am running HDT from grub2 with memdisk. I have informed the success of booting hdt to the grub2 list. Some developers are very much interested to this issue and they are showing their interest to make a glue between com32 and grub2 so that hdt can be loaded without memdisk. It is really very exciting to have hdt as an inbuilt feature of grub2. Could any one kindly
