Trouble with simple R list concatenations
PROBLEM How can I concatenate the following lists into ONE LIST WITHOUT the unhelpful message "operator is invalid for atomic vectors"? Combine as a data frame? EXAMPLE Birth_Date <- NULL Birth_Date[1:3] <- c("01/17/1939","01/17/1949", "01/17/1959") Later_Date <- NULL Later_Date[1:3] <- c("01/17/2009", NA, NA) Names

RIP: 0010:g84_gr_tlb_flush+0x2eb/0x300
Hi there, Could someone please comment on the following hard-lock (*). Staring at the code, I see `nvkm_rd32` calls are enclosed in a timeout detection, except one. drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvkm/engine/gr/g84.c#L171 ... nvkm_msec(device, 2000, if (!(nvkm_rd32(device, 0x100c80) & 0x00000001)) break; ); ... Would it make sense to also enclose this in the do/while loop ? Full ref: *

Aastra 57i / 57i CT phones fail to re-register
Hi, Has anyone had experience with the Aastra 57i / 57i CT phones? The problem I'm having is that the phone isn't re-registering itself with the Asterisk server. As a result, the phone loses the registration with the server and is no longer able to receive incoming calls. Outgoing calls work fine. Right now, I have the following sip registration settings: sip registration period: 180

Firmware upgrade Aastra 480i CT
Does anyone have success in upgrading Aastra/Sayson 480i CT firmware? All I get, no matter what I've tried is "Unable to upgrade firmware". tftpd is working because the dialplan freshens, and I have aastra.cfg whatevermacaddressfile.cfg and firmware.st in /tftpboot Am I missing something stupid? Is there another way to upgrade it? Chris Coulthurst chris@shuksan.com

A little OT but need an opinion on Aastra 57i CT
Hello All, I have a need for a wireless solution and have been looking at the Aastra 57i CT phone that have the wireless handset with them. Aastra says they will cover "up to 300,000 square feet". I am finding this hard to accept. I was also wondering about the "secure WDCT cordless technology" Could this be a form of DECT? Any one using these that can shed some lite?

opensc/ct/etc
Has anyone worked with the upstream installation for 5.5, and successfully told it to ->shut up<- when you pull your smart card out of the reader? Since you can't add parms in /etc/reader.conf, or in a file in /etc/reader.conf.d, I tried editing /etc/init.d/pcscd to tell it error level and above logging only, and it ignores it, and writes over and over that the card is "mute or

as.POSIX{ct,lt} fail on class "AsIs"
(I think this is probably appropriate for r-devel -- if my diagnosis is correct, that is) I have a script that I run infrequently (i.e., quarterly) that has been working for several years. I re-ran it this morning for the first time since updating R from 2.6.2 to 2.7.0, and encountered an error. I found a simple example that shows the problem: > as.POSIXct( I( '2008-01-01' ) )

crossvalidation in svm regression in e1071 gives incorre ct results (PR#8554)
1. This is _not_ a bug in R itself. Please don't use R's bug reporting system for contributed packages. 2. This is _not_ a bug in svm() in `e1071'. I believe you forgot to take sqrt. 3. You really should use the `tot.MSE' component rather than the mean of the `MSE' component, but this is only a very small difference. So, instead of spread[i] <- mean(mysvm$MSE), you
