[RFC 00/12] Audio DSP VirtIO and vhost drivers
This patch set is a follow up to "Add a vhost RPMsg API" [1], it is marked as an RFC because firstly it depends on the RPMsg API series and secondly it is currently being reviewed on ALSA and SOF mailing lists, but any early comments from virtualisation developers would be highly appreciated too! Thanks Guennadi [1]

[PATCH v7 3/3] vhost: add an RPMsg API
Linux supports running the RPMsg protocol over the VirtIO transport protocol, but currently there is only support for VirtIO clients and no support for VirtIO servers. This patch adds a vhost-based RPMsg server implementation, which makes it possible to use RPMsg over VirtIO between guest VMs and the host. sftp client reget reput
we have implemented this function for 3.1p1, and have been using it in production sense may 2002. The patch has been ported to 3.7.1p2, we have been using it in 3.7.1p2 for awhile, if anyone is interested, here it is. This is the same patch David Bradford talked about on 2002-06-05 Regards, Greg Hayes diff -u -r openssh-3.7.1p2/sftp-client.c openssh-3.7.1p2_sftp/sftp-client.c ---

[PATCH libnbd] examples: Fix theoretical cookie race in example.
There was a theoretic race in this example: If the server was very fast at handling commands then it's possible that in a call such as: cookie = nbd_aio_pread_callback (..., callback, ...); buffers[i].cookie = cookie; nbd_aio_pread_callback finished and calls the callback before returning. buffers[i].cookie would therefore not be set, but the callback() function was checking the list of

$ gcc -O2 -c -Woverlength-strings stupid.c stupid.c: In function ?insert_lf_record?: stupid.c:22: warning: string length ?7394? is greater than the length ?509? ISO C90 compilers are required to support Without -O2 the error message goes away. Even ISO C99 compilers don't help - they raise the limit to a mere 4095 bytes. [PATCH v2] Use less stack.
GCC has two warnings related to large stack frames. We were already using the -Wframe-larger-than warning, but this reduces the threshold from 10000 to 5000 bytes. However that warning only covers the static part of frames (not alloca). So this change also enables -Wstack-usage=10000 which covers both the static and dynamic usage (alloca and variable length arrays). Multiple changes are made
