Program runs, but crashes...
I'm attempting to get a version of a terminal emulator (Meditech, proprietary Esprit105C emulation) running on a Linux box with RedHat 6.2 and CodeWeavers Wine 20010305-1. The program runs (after asking for netapi32.dll and netbios.dll first...copied those from a win98 PC with no problems) and then when I start entering the information to set up the terminal config, it crashes with the

Having trouble getting winedbg to be invoked, trying to run sol.exe
Well, I retitled this message several times while writing it, as I discovered more things; the brick wall I ultimately ran into is getting the debugger to work. So, bear with me... I'm trying to get Wine working. Ultimately I have a couple of apps I want to get working, but at the moment I'm trying to run sol.exe to verify that Wine is installed and configured properly and... having

Wine and winsock
Having gotten the latest CVS to build, I'm trying to get IE working again (yeah, yeah, I know...) I can get it to load, but then it doesn't seem to be able to make any network connections. I can't browse anything. It doesn't matter whether I use ip addresses or dns names. This was working on previous versions, but I can't quite figure out what changes broke this. Any help or

Mounting Floppies
Hi - daft one for Friday morning coffee break: I have been trying to mount floppies on a couple of CentOS5 servers - the usual "mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy" (yes, /mnt/floppy exists!). On both servers, the mount command just doesn't come back and I have to hit CTRL-C. I have tried different media and also changed the floppy drive on one server, /dev/fd0 is seen as present on both

Setup.exe Exception
Hi, I tried to run a setup.exe (Installshiled). The setup started but when I click the next button on third Dialog I get an exception message "unimplemented function .... msvcrt.dll:_ui64toa ..". The setup is using the builtin msvcrt.dll. I defined the msvcrt.dll as native in the DllOverrides section but the setup.exe/wine ignored it and loaded the builtin. Any idea?? TIA Stefan

Trying to get program to work but no error messages
I am trying to get a game called Mytheon working, it is a relatively unheard of MMO and there is no entry in the appDB for it. The game installed fine, but when I try to run it it it just does nothing. No errors, no waiting or anything. The command line pauses like something is going to happen for a second and then the regular prompt comes back up. Is there some way to make it so I can see

floppy drives
Yes, really. I've got hundreds of the damn things here at home, and I want to go through them and get rid of them all. But... to do that I want to read them. I have both a 5.25" and a 3.5" drive, both are plugged in, but in the BIOS, all I see is the 3.5". Fine, I figure I'll take care of those. Nope. I see /dev/fd0 once I've booted up, but neither konqueror nor
