[PATCH v2] virtio/test: fix up after IOTLB changes
Allow building vringh without IOTLB (that's the case for userspace
builds, will be useful for CAIF/VOD down the road too).
Update for API tweaks.
Don't include vringh with userspace builds.

I'm not quite sure we need this.
E.g the userspace accessor is not used by CAIF/VOP.

[PATCH v3 4/8] vringh: support VA with iotlb
vDPA supports the possibility to use user VA in the iotlb messages.
So, let's add support for user VA in vringh to use it in the vDPA
simulators.

[PATCHv2] virtio: Introduce vringh wrappers in virtio_config
From: Sjur Br?ndeland <sjur.brandeland at stericsson.com>
Add wrappers for the host vrings to support loose
coupling between the virtio device and driver.
A new struct vringh_config_ops with the functions
find_vrhs() and del_vrhs() is added to the virtio_device
struct. This enables virtio drivers to manage virtio
host rings without detailed knowledge of how the
vrings are created and

[PATCH V3 1/5] vhost: factor out IOTLB
This patch factors out IOTLB into a dedicated module in order to be
reused by other modules like vringh. User may choose to enable the
automatic retiring by specifying VHOST_IOTLB_FLAG_RETIRE flag to fit
for the case of vhost device IOTLB implementation.

[PATCH v2 1/2] virtio: stop using legacy struct vring
struct vring (in the uapi directory) and supporting APIs are kept
around to avoid breaking old userspace builds.
It's not actually part of the UAPI - it was kept in the UAPI
header by mistake, and using it in kernel isn't necessary
and prevents us from making changes safely.
In particular, the APIs actually assume the legacy layout.
Add struct vring_s (identical ATM) and supporting

[PATCH] vhost: fix default for vhost_iotlb
During randconfig build testing, I ran into a configuration that has
CONFIG_VHOST=m, CONFIG_VHOST_IOTLB=m and CONFIG_VHOST_RING=y, which
makes the iotlb implementation left out from vhost_ring, and in turn
leads to a link failure of the vdpa_sim module:
ERROR: modpost: "vringh_set_iotlb" [drivers/vdpa/vdpa_sim/vdpa_sim.ko] undefined!
ERROR: modpost: "vringh_init_iotlb"

[PATCH V3 5/5] vdpasim: vDPA device simulator
This patch implements a software vDPA networking device. The datapath
is implemented through vringh and workqueue. The device has an on-chip
IOMMU which translates IOVA to PA. For kernel virtio drivers, vDPA
simulator driver provides dma_ops. For vhost driers, set_map() methods
of vdpa_config_ops is implemented to accept mappings from vhost.
Currently, vDPA device simulator will loopback TX

[PATCH V4 0/5] vDPA support
Hi all:
This is an update version of vDPA support in kernel.
vDPA device is a device that uses a datapath which complies with the
virtio specifications with vendor specific control path. vDPA devices
can be both physically located on the hardware or emulated by
software. vDPA hardware devices are usually implemented through PCIE
with the following types:
- PF (Physical Function) - A single
