USB devices - libgphoto2 - PTP - hplip
Hi All,
I'm trying to disable USB storage devices in Centos7.1.1503.
I've setup udev rules to block all usb devices and then additional rules
to allow specific vendors / products to be used (mainly keyboards and
mice). This is all working perfectly.
cat /etc/udev/rules.d/01-usblockdown.rules
# Block all USB devices

chan_capi with an AVM C4 connected to 4 BRI-lines in PTP-Mode
Hi!
I'm goining to connect an AVM C4 to 4 BRI-lines in PTP-Mode, all
BRI-lines will have the same number (1234-XX for example).
I don't know if this is possible and I can't test it, because I don't
have these lines yet.
Is anybody out there, running such a configuration? I'm looking for some
example configs. Especially I want to know how it is possible, to let

OT - Avantages of ISDN PtP and PtmP
Hi,
Reading http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/bri.html , it seems PtP is
the way to connect businesses but if you read
http://public.swbell.net/ISDN/connect.html you would think the opposite.
Can anyone elaborate a bit PtP or PtmP respective advantages ?
Cheers

CAPI on ptp with variable length digits in phonenumber: SOLUTION for EICON
Hello!
I finally found a working solution.
calling
divactrl with the parameter -n [0..20] gives the DID-length
means, if you wanna have 123-XXX in digit-wise mode, then call
divactrl load -c 1 -n 3 -f ETSI
and the card will wait for n digits.
regards,
Sebastian

* & ISDN-BRI-PTP & DID & ISDN4Linux does not show incoming number
Hi,
I am using Asterisk on a DSS1 ISDN-BRI with ISDN4Linux (and a Fritz Card PnP).
The ISDN-BRI is in PTP-Mode (Point to Point "german: Anlagenanschluss")
which is enabled within I4L with "hisaxctrl fcpcipnp0 7 1".
Everything works fine except that I can not see the called number/MSN
of incoming calls within Asterisk and because of this I can not route
incoming calls

clock sync/drift
Hi,
We have a little over 100 servers, almost all running CentOS 5.7.
Virtually all are Dell servers, generally a mix of 1950s, R610s, and
R410s.
We use NTP and/or PTP to sync their clocks. One phenomenon we've
noticed is that (1) on reboot, the clocks are all greatly out of sync,
and (2) if the PTP or NTP process is stopped, the clocks start
drifting very quickly.
If it was isolated to

[PATCH 6/6] VMware balloon: Update vmw_balloon.c to use the VMW_PORT macro
Updated VMWARE_BALLOON_CMD to use the common VMW_PORT macro.
Doing this rather than replacing all instances of VMWARE_BALLOON_CMD
to minimize code change.
