Joystick support in Wine
Howdy,
I've been using my joystick in Windows apps under Wine with no problems so
far, but a program I tried recently doesn't recognize the stick. I noticed an
error message in the console, any ideas how to fix it?
fixme:dinput:JoystickAImpl_GetDeviceState len 272 is not sizeof(DIJOYSTATE),
unsupported format.

[RESEND] Mixer + Joystick problems with a game. Anybody willing to debug?
Hi there!
I've just downloaded a shiny new demo version of the rocking flight
simulator X-Plane 7.30 [1]. Wine seems to like it, except for two
flaws. It would be nice if any of you felt good enough to track down
and solve any of them:
- Mixer underrun: The sound mixer buffer seems to have some problems
with this game when changing engine speed. I guess there this is a

Only one joystick of two activated
Hi,
I am always using the newest Wine snapshot on OpenSUSE 10.3 x86_64.
My two USB-joysticks (js0, js1) - which are pedals and joystick - work without problems with all native Linux simulations like FlightGear, Torcs, etc.
It is a big pity that with Wine only the first joystick is activated, no matter which order I use, because with Wine all my old Windows simulations work without problems.

Joystick Axis not working
My Joystick, a Logitech Extreme 3D, works natively in Linux. It's mapped to /dev/input/js0
All the buttons on the joystick work in wine, but the Joystick's Axis', HAT switch and throttle do not work in wine. Specifically, I'm trying to play Xwing Alliance. I'm running Gentoo Linux, 2.6.25.4 kernel, wine 1.0 rc3
Any help getting my joystick's axis', hat switch,

USB-joystick not detected
Hi,
I am using a CH Flightstick gameport-stick converted by a gameport-usb converter
(Rockfire). This works well under OpenSUSE Linux 10.1, ie. with FlightGear.
When I try to use this joystick with Wine wine-0.9.24 it is not detected with
two running (with keyboard) sims: Fly!II and A320 Simulator.
I also set a link # ln -s /dev/input/js0 /dev/js0 as suggested in other posts.
Here is my debug

dinput_test works but WINEDEBUG shows no joystick for game?
This is a continuation/evolution of what I've been trying to do, get some response from my controller(s) in Guitar Hero 3. I compiled wine (with some help :) and manually copied the dinput_test.exe.so file into my /usr/lib32/wine directory and made it's permissions match the other exe.so files (644). I then run the test to see if dinput is seeing/reacting to my controller, and it seems

Joystick functionality in Wine for Mac OS
I need help getting my joystick functioning for Wine in Mac OS X. I am using Wineskin with Wine version 1.3.9 and Mac OS 10.6.5. The joystick is functional and my Mac reads it fine. I've tried editing the regedit keys by creating a DirectInput key with the string "Logitech Logitech Extreme 3D" = "X,Y,Rz,Slider1,POV1,POV2". However, that did nothing. I also tried putting the

Anyone having his USB Joystick working in wine?
Hi everyone,
I am running X-Plane under wine, but the joystick input is ignored.
Is there anything special I need to do in the wine setup to have the
joystick recognized.
My joystick is a USB Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D, and it
works normally under other Linux applications.

Gamepad & Wine 1.0.1-2 on Debian Sid
Hi, I need you help.
I've been reading and searching on Google for a while know to try to get my gamepad (joystick, whatever) to work. Of course that the gamepad works fine under GNU/linux natives apps, like ZNES.
First of all, is not a gamepad or joystick actually, it's an adaptor that lets me connect 2 PSII joysticks in one USB port.
The module I'm using is joydev, and I'm

Xbox 1 gamepad not detected with Star Trek Online game
Hello, I am having a problem with Star Trek Online game.
I am running this game on an Archlinux x86_64 system with wine 1.5.3.
Recently I decided to try playing this game with one of my old but still working xbox 1 gamepads. For that purpose, I installed the xboxdrv (the userspace driver for xbox 360 and 1 gamepads) and after running xboxdrv with the command xboxdrv --silent --trigger-as-button, I

now, doesn't it?
On a more serious note, this is the last release for the joystick driver.
I'll put the usual 'discontinued' messages into the
