[PATCH] vhost: remove unused lock check flag in vhost_dev_cleanup()
In commit ea5d404655ba ("vhost: fix release path lockdep checks"),
Michael added a flag to check whether we should hold a lock in
vhost_dev_cleanup(), however, in commit 47283bef7ed3 ("vhost: move
memory pointer to VQs"), RCU operations have been replaced by
mutex, we can remove the no-longer-used `locked' parameter now.

[PATCH 0/2] tools/virtio: virtio_ring testing tool
This implements a virtio simulator:
- adds stubs for enough support functions to compile
virtio ring in userspace.
- Adds a stub vhost based module this can talk to.
This should help us decide things like which ring layout
works best.
Communication is currently done using an eventfd descriptor.
This means there's a shared spinlock there: what I would like to do
in the future, is run

From: Stefano Garzarella <sgarzare at redhat.com>

put in the virtqueue, to avoid that replies can appear in the
packet capture before the transmitted packet.

shouldn't stop polling. Otherwise it won't be adjusted again and
keeps running at an initial crazy pace.

[PATCH AUTOSEL 4.19 177/192] drm/nouveau: Stop using drm_crtc_force_disable
From: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter at ffwll.ch>
[ Upstream commit 934c5b32a5e43d8de2ab4f1566f91d7c3bf8cb64 ]
The correct way for legacy drivers to update properties that need to
do a full modeset, is to do a full modeset.
Note that we don't need to call the drm_mode_config_internal helper
because we're not changing any of the refcounted paramters.

[PATCH AUTOSEL 4.19 021/141] drm/nouveau/disp/dp: respect sink limits when selecting failsafe link configuration
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 13d03e9daf70dab032c03dc172e75bb98ad899c4 ]
Where possible, we want the failsafe link configuration (one which won't
hang the OR during modeset because of not enough bandwidth for the mode)
to also be supported by the sink.
This prevents "link rate unsupported by sink" messages when link training
fails.

HW has error checks in place which check that pixel depth is explicitly
provided on DP, while HDMI has a "default" setting that we use.

protocols (HDMI + DP, in this case), it was possible for the DP head to

[PATCH AUTOSEL 4.19 027/141] drm/nouveau/kms/gv100-: fix spurious window immediate interlocks
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit d2434e4d942c32cadcbdbcd32c58f35098f3b604 ]
Cursor position updates were accidentally causing us to attempt to interlock
window with window immediate, and without a matching window immediate update,
NVDisplay could hang forever in some circumstances.
Fixes suspend/resume on (at least) Quadro RTX4000 (TU104).
