[PATCH] drm/virtio: do NOT reuse resource ids
Bisected guest kernel changes crashing qemu. Landed at
"6c1cd97bda drm/virtio: fix resource id handling". Looked again, and
noticed we where not only leaking *some* ids, but *all* ids. The old
code never ever called virtio_gpu_resource_id_put().
So, commit 6c1cd97bda effectively makes the linux kernel starting
re-using IDs after releasing them, and apparently virglrenderer can't

[PATCH 4/4] drm/virtio: Use IDAs more efficiently
0-based IDAs are more efficient than any other base. Convert the
1-based IDAs to be 0-based.

[PATCH 0/4] Improve virtio ID allocation
I noticed you were using IDRs where you could be using the more efficient
IDAs, then while fixing that I noticed the lack of error handling,
and I decided to follow that up with an efficiency improvement.
There's probably a v2 of this to follow because I couldn't figure
out how to properly handle one of the error cases ... see the comment
embedded in one of the patches.

[PATCH 2/3] virtio-gpu: batch display update commands.
When the driver submits multiple commands in a row it makes sense to
notify the host only after submitting the last one, so the host can
process them all at once, with a single vmexit.
Add functions to enable/disable notifications to allow that. Use the
new functions for primary plane updates.

[PATCH v3 2/5] drm/virtio: use struct to pass params to virtio_gpu_object_create()
Create virtio_gpu_object_params, use that to pass object parameters to
virtio_gpu_object_create. This is just the first step, followup patches
will add more parameters to the struct. The plan is to use the struct
for all object parameters.
Drop unused "kernel" parameter for virtio_gpu_alloc_object(), it is
unused and always false.
Also drop "pinned" parameter. virtio-gpu

Easily switchable factor levels
I've recently been working with some California county-level data. The
counties can be referred to as either FIPS codes, eg F060102, friendly
names such as "Del Norte County", names without 'County' on the end,
names with 'CA' on the end ("Del Norte County, CA"). Different data
sets use slightly different forms and putting them all together is a
pain.
So I

[PATCH v3 1/4] drm/virtio: rework notification for better batching
Drop the virtio_gpu_{disable,enable}_notify(). Add a new
virtio_gpu_notify() call instead, which must be called whenever
the driver wants make sure the host is notified needed.
Drop automatic notification from command submission. Add
virtio_gpu_notify() calls after each command query instead.
This allows more fine-grained control over host notification
and can move around the notify calls in
