[PATCH v3] drm/bochs: add edid present check
Check header before trying to read the complete edid blob, to avoid the log being spammed in case qemu has no edid support (old qemu or edid support turned off). [PATCH v2 04/20] drm/bochs: Remove references to struct drm_device.pdev

[PATCH v2] drm/bochs: fix framebuffer setup.
The driver doesn't consider framebuffer pitch and offset, leading to a wrong display in case offset != 0 or pitch != width * bpp. Fix it. [PATCH v4] drm/bochs: add drm_driver.release callback.
Call bochs_unload via drm_driver.release to make sure we release stuff when it is safe to do so. Use drm_dev_{enter,exit,unplug} to avoid touching hardware after device removal. Tidy up here and there. v4: add changelog. v3: use drm_dev_*(). v2: move hardware deinit to pci_remove(). [PATCH 2/2] drm/bochs: fix framebuffer setup.
If bo->width doesn't match fb->width the driver fails to configure the display correctly, resulting in a scrambled display. Fix it. [PATCH v2] drm/bochs: downgrade pci_request_region failure from error to warning
Shutdown of firmware framebuffer has a bunch of problems. Because of this the framebuffer region might still be reserved even after drm_fb_helper_remove_conflicting_pci_framebuffers() returned. Don't consider pci_request_region() failure for the framebuffer region as fatal error to workaround this issue. Reported-by: Marek Marczykowski-G?recki <marmarek at invisiblethingslab.com>

[PATCH v2] drm/bochs: add drm_driver.release callback.
Call drm_dev_unregister() first in bochs_pci_remove(). Hook bochs_unload() into the new .release callback, to make sure cleanup is done when all users are gone. Add ready bool to state struct and move bochs_hw_fini() call from bochs_unload() to bochs_pci_remove() to make sure hardware is not touched after bochs_pci_remove returns. [PATCH v2] drm/bochs: add edid support.
Recent qemu (latest master branch, upcoming 3.1 release) got support for EDID data. This patch adds guest driver support. EDID support in qemu is not (yet) enabled by default, so please use 'qemu -device VGA,edid=on' for testing.
