[PATCH 0/3] vhost-scsi: Fix IO hangs when using windows
The following patches were made over Linus's tree and fix an issue where windows guests will send iovecs with offset/lengths that result in IOs that are not aligned to 512. The LIO layer will then send them to Linux's block layer but it requires 512 byte alignment, so depending on the block driver being used we will get IO errors or hung IO. The following patches have vhost-scsi detect

[PATCH] vhost: scsi: notify TCM about the maximum sg entries supported per command.
vhost-scsi pre-allocates the maximum sg entries per command and if a command requires more than VHOST_SCSI_PREALLOC_SGLS entries, then that command is failed by it. This patch lets vhost communicate the max sg limit when it registers vhost_scsi_ops with TCM. With this change, TCM would report the max sg entries through "Block Limits" VPD page which will be typically queried by the SCSI

[PATCH V2 1/4] vhost: introduce vhost_exceeds_weight()
We used to have vhost_exceeds_weight() for vhost-net to: - prevent vhost kthread from hogging the cpu - balance the time spent between TX and RX This function could be useful for vsock and scsi as well. So move it to vhost.c. Device must specify a weight which counts the number of requests, or it can also specific a byte_weight which counts the number of bytes that has been processed.

Hi: This series try to prvernt a guest triggerable CPU hogging through vhost kthread. This is done by introducing and checking the weight after each requrest. The patch has been tested with reproducer of vsock and virtio-net. Only compile test is done for vhost-scsi. Please review. This addresses CVE-2019-3900.
