[PATCH net] vhost_net: examine pointer types during un-producing
After commit 761876c857cb ("tap: XDP support"), we can actually queueing XDP pointers in the pointer ring, so we should examine the pointer type before freeing the pointer. [PATCH net 2/3] vhost_net: keep private_data and rx_ring synced
We get pointer ring from the exported sock, this means we should keep rx_ring and vq->private synced during both vq stop and backend set, otherwise we may see stale rx_ring. [RFC PATCH net-next 00/12] XDP batching for TUN/vhost_net
Hi all: We do not support XDP batching for TUN since it can only receive one packet a time from vhost_net. This series tries to remove this limitation by: - introduce a TUN specific msg_control that can hold a pointer to an array of XDP buffs - try copy and build XDP buff in vhost_net - store XDP buffs in an array and submit them once for every N packets from vhost_net - since TUN can only

[PATCH net-next 00/11] Vhost_net TX batching
Hi all: This series tries to batch submitting packets to underlayer socket through msg_control during sendmsg(). This is done by: 1) Doing userspace copy inside vhost_net 2) Build XDP buff 3) Batch at most 64 (VHOST_NET_BATCH) XDP buffs and submit them once through msg_control during sendmsg(). 4) Underlayer sockets can use XDP buffs directly when XDP is enalbed, or build skb based on XDP

[PATCH 2/2] Add VMDq support to ixgbe
This patch adds experimental VMDq support (AKA Netchannel2 vmq) to the ixgbe driver. This applies to the Netchannel2 tree, and should NOT be applied to the "normal" development tree. To enable VMDq functionality, load the driver with the command-line parameter VMDQ=<num queues>, as in: $ modprobe ixgbe VMDQ=8 You can then set up PV domains to use the device by modifying your VM
