Hi Aurélien, is there some documentation around where I can read about that? Where can I find the information, that I need Kernel 4.11 or above to get DFS with SMB2.0 / 2.1 / 3.0 and above working? nouveau "eDP-1: EDID is invalid" regression after 4.11 with HP ZBook 15 G3
Hi, The HP ZBook 15 G3 laptop builtin display (eDP-1) does not work correctly with v4.11-11413-g2868b25. When booting the laptop, the resolution seems to be limited to 1024x768, and gnome-session segfaults. Up to 4.11 the display works just fine in 1920x1080 mode. I'm seeing this in the kernel logs: nouveau 0000:01:00.0: eDP-1: EDID is invalid: [00] BAD 00 ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 ff

Potential contribution: FUSE client w/ SMB3 encryption support
Hello, My team is in search of a way to mount SMB3/CIFS shares from a Linux client with encryption enabled (and with reasonable performance). After some research, it appears that the kernel CIFS client (mount.cifs) lacks encryption support, while the Samba client library (libsmbclient) doesn't offer mount functionality. Looking at the recent commit "examples: Add smb2mount"

Questions about samba upgrade
Hi, I'm making tests to migrate our actual 4.4.5 to a latest versions and add a second dc. I have added a second dc with 4.10.7 and seems to work fine, now I have 4.4.5 with fsmo roles and a second dn with 4.10.7, but reading wiki https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Upgrading_a_Samba_AD_DC seems that since latest days some changes about steps to upgrade, now seems that is recommended to us

Hello everybody, Thank you very much for your continued support. Unfortunately, I think that I will not get on with Samba in the situation. It is tried a lot and I come from one problem to the next. That's why I commissioned the Finazellen funds for Windows licenses for all sites today. Thus, I will run the Complete AD future on a pure Windows basis. Thank you for your help Best wishes

[PATCH v2 09/10] drm/nouveau: Handle frame-packing mode geometry and timing effects
* Frame-packing modes add an extra vtotal raster lines to each frame above and beyond what the basic mode description calls for. Account for this during scaler configuration (possibly a bit of a hack), during CRTC configuration (clearly not a hack), and when checking that a mode is vaild for a given connector (cribbed from the i915 driver).
