is mounting subvolumes with a read-only root subvolume allowed?
Hi,
I have a box with / and /home being subvolumes from the same btrfs filesystem.
/etc/fstab:
UUID=c0686... / btrfs subvol=root,x-systemd.device-timeout=0 1 1
UUID=c0686... /home btrfs subvol=home,x-systemd.device-timeout=0 1 1
...
/ is initially mounted readonly by the initramfs, and then after switching
to the real system, /home is attempted to be mounted in parallel with /

How to debug slow operation
Hello,
I am no programmer at all. I have dovecot set up on two very similar
machines. On one of the boxes, the dovecot server has recently been
showing slower response times. It feels slower. Where it is slower,
dovecot works as an auth server for postfix. I have replaced exim with
postfix on that box and I think since then dovecot started to slow down.
On the other machine the MTA is exim.

mail_crypt plugin, few questions
Hi,
I have few questions regarding mail_crypt:
1) Is mail_crypt_global_private_key file read upon dovecot start/restart only or it is/can be read in any other time? I have made few tests by starting dovecot and removing master key for decryption - therefore it is not available on the platform - it only reside in memory, removing one of attack vectors
2) Is there planned any ?rollout? for key

Fatal: All your namespaces have a location setting.
Hello,
I am trying to setup dovecot sync between 2 servers and come up with this error:
Fatal: All your namespaces have a location setting. It should be empty (default mail_location) in the namespace to be converted.
i am stuck with this as i cannot find any resolution on the web, here are my config details:
doveconf -n
# 2.1.7: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
# OS: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 x86_64 Debian

Terminal Services are extremely slow!
Hi there,
I've been trying to run Terminal Services using wine and it seems to work
but it's sloooow. I'm running dual boot system with Caldera Workstation 3.1,
Windows2000 Professional and Wine 20011106.
Any ideas or success stories?
Here some output lines:
wine --winver win2k "MTSC.exe"

[Bridge] [PATCH] [2.6.15.4] Fix has_bridge_parent undefined with CONFIG_NETFILTER_DEBUG
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Apparently introduced in the latest stable set; I am not sure if this is a
right fix but given that bridge parent already exists at this point it was
rather silly to fetch it again.

ssl-parameters.dat.tmp missing
Hello,
My dovecot works well but I have noticed in logs the following line:
Feb 5 09:19:51 lists dovecot: ssl-build-param: Can't create temporary
SSL parameters file /var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat.tmp: No such
file or directory
I am not sure when it first appeared but I have not seen it before
(and I am using dovecot for more almost 2 years now).
