Wine-20010305 - MS Word97 - FlashWindow loop
Hi,
Microsoft word 97 seems to get stuck in a FlashWindow loop. Briefly,
the word splash screen and main window come up fine. When I click on
the File menu and then on the Open choice, wine seems to get stuck in
a loop in which the window title bar flashes active and inactive.
A preamble and a couple of loop iterations follow in the trace
below.
Looping behavior does not occur when I try the

Fix to track-kameipv6 branch for socket.c
I ran into a problem where systems without DNS entries could not connect to
the rsync server with the IPV6 patch applied.
Here is a fix to the problem.
Basically they were checking the list of IP addresses returned by getaddr
even if getaddr failed. I just changed it so they only check the list of IP
addresses if getaddr succeeds.
Any comments on this please email me directly because I do not

A program cant find their DLLs and it really exists
Hi:
I am fond in photography, not a professional but amateur. I have a FujiFilm camera wich comes with some utilities and I need one of this for converting my RAW Images, I really like it and want to keep using it instead other programs.
Question is I can launch the program (by comand line and by desktop launcher) and when I choose the file it should be drawn in the screen. It works perfectly

DDE problems
Hi!
I started using wine (wine-20020122 compiled from source tarball) a couple
of weeks ago to run a store-point-of-sale application.
The idea is to port this windows application to linux. Before porting, we
decided to check if the app could be emulated on linux with wine or
recompiled with winelib.
This is also necessary to run proprietary windows DLLs from third parties
such as credit card

kernel32.VirtualAlloc() limitation? - "Insufficient memory to perform operation"
Hello,
capserve.exe is part of Adobe Acrobat 5's PaperCapture plugin. Runnning "wine capserve.exe" I get an
error saying "Insufficient memory to perform operation" (although all runs fine under Windows).
It seems that several calls to kernel32.VirtualAlloc(), ntdll.NtAllocateVirtualMemory() and related
functions are executed right before the error message is issued. See

Stars! kills X-Server
While playing Stars! wine sometimes kills the X-Server. This happend
infrequently in all Versions of wine I tried, but this time I managed
to generate a bugreport.
I use wine with managed windows, this seems to be the most stable
setting for Stars.
To start wine I used
wine -debugmsg +relay -language De_DE -- stars\!.exe -s -m >& ~/`date +winedebug_%Y%m%d.txt`

Too stupid for sieve (former maildrop user)
Hello,
I just migrated from Postfix/Courier/Maildrop to
Postfix/Dovecot/Deliver/Sieve and don't unterstand the right syntax
for sieve :(
I searched and found many small examples and many links to the RFC,
but nothing was usefull for me (or i didn't unterstand it)
I installed the latest Dovecot-Sieve (hg).
Examples from my maildrop config:

[LLVMdev] VEX prefixes for JIT in llvm 3.5
Hi Matt, Philip,
You could get the data you want by recording the addresses returned by the
allocateCodeSection and allocateDataSection methods on your
RTDyldMemoryManager, then disassembling those sections after you've called
resolveRelocations. That's a little unsatisfying though. For one thing,
unless you very carefully maintain the association with the original object

Win32API patch?
Hi all,
Passing a Fixnum when you should have passed a String (pointer) causes a
segfault in Win32API.
I''ve already reported this on RubyForge (Bug #3904):
require ''Win32API''
RegFormat = Win32API.new(''user32'', ''RegisterClipboardFormat'', ''P'', ''I'')
RegFormat.call(1) # Boom!
I''ve traced the
