[PATCH 00/13] remove_conflicting_framebuffers() cleanup
This series cleans up duplicated code for replacing firmware FB
driver with proper DRI driver and adds handover support to
Tegra driver.
The last patch is here because it uses new semantics of
remove_conflicting_framebuffers() from this series. This
can be considered independently, though.

[PATCH] drm/virtio: fix building without CONFIG_FBDEV
Removing the build-time dependency on DRM_KMS_FB_HELPER means
we can now build with CONFIG_FB disabled or as a loadable module,
leading to a link error:
ERROR: "remove_conflicting_framebuffers" [drivers/gpu/drm/virtio/virtio-gpu.ko] undefined!
There is no need to call remove_conflicting_framebuffers() if
CONFIG_FB is disabled, or if the virtio-gpu driver is built-in
and CONFIG_FB=m, as

[PATCHv2 1/2] fbdev: allow passing more than one aperture for handoff
It simplifies nouveau code by removal of detection which
region to pass to kick vesafb/efifb.

[PATCH 1/3] fbmem: fix aperture overlapping check
fb_do_apertures_overlap is returning wrong value when one aperture
is completely whithin the other. Add generic ranges_overlap macro
(probably kernel.h candidate) and use it here.

It removes a hack from nouveau code which had to detect which
region to pass to kick vesafb/efifb.

[PATCH 02/37] drm: Remove drm_device->virtdev
This is a leftover from the drm_bus days, where we've had a
bus-specific device type for every bus type in drm_device. Except for
pci (which we can't remove because dri1 drivers) this is all gone. And
the virt driver also doesn't really need it, dev_to_virtio works
perfectly fine.

[PATCH v2 2/3] fbmem, drm/nouveau: kick firmware framebuffers as soon as possible
Currently vesafb/efifb/... is kicked when hardware driver is registering
framebuffer. To do it hardware must be fully functional, so there's a short
window between start of initialisation and framebuffer registration when
two drivers touch the hardware. Unfortunately sometimes it breaks nouveau
initialisation.
Fix it by kicking firmware driver(s) before we start touching the hardware.

[PATCH 0/3] drm/nouveau: Fixup module probe to add ->shutdown()
This series is intended to add support for shutting down the GPU on
kernel shutdown/reboot using the ->shutdown() hook, similar to what
amdgpu does. This is mainly intended to workaround a bios issue on the
P50 that was preventing nouveau from initializing the dedicated GM107
GPU on that system properly. You can find more details on this issue in
the patch labeled "Shut down GPU on kernel

[PATCH] vga16fb: refuse to load in face of other driver controlling primary card
We don't want vga16fb to mess with hardware initialized by other driver.
Detect it and refuse to load.
It fixes nouveau interrupt storm on some machines.
