X Error BadAlloc - delete .wine every time
I wonder if this rings a bell or seems obvious to anyone. The program is K-MeleonCCFME--a high performance variation of K-Meleon 1.5.0 with Gecko 1.9.1 . If I delete the .wine directory, the program starts and runs every time and hasn't crashed yet. (I start it with "wine k-meleon" from it's own directory.) However, if I exit the program and attempt to restart in the same

The fonts at the login mask appears and we can successful login. But if we open a list page (company's list, invoice's list), Topix still breaks down. Here's the terminal's journal... If you could have a look at it, can you

dynamically adding static (class) methods to a class
Hello again, I guess this is more of a Ruby question, but here goes anyways... I want to intercept all calls to non existent class methods and then call an existing class method with the non existent name. In code... class MyModel < ActiveRecord::Base def MyModel.method_missing(symbol, *args) MyModel.func(symbol.id2name) end def MyModel.func(func_called) puts "You

Hero Lab shuts down when closing windows within the program
Man, I hope that title makes sense. I'm using Wine version 1.3.28 and Ubuntu 11.10 The problem occurs when I open the application and attempt to create a character or open one. When a dialog box closes, the entire program closes. I'm not entirely sure what to do, as Hero Lab 3.9's entry on the[url=http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=25135] AppDB[/url

BadAlloc on certain X servers
I tried to post this to comp.emulators.ms-windows.wine, but there were no replies. I realize this is partly covered on the Codeweavers web site, but I'm not sure whether the discussions there apply to my problem, and I wasn't able to find a solution by Googleing around either. So here it goes. I'll start with a little explanation, but it may be possible to just skip down to the

Debugging a "X Error of failed request: BadAlloc"
Hello all, as an almost daily user of Wine I'd finally like to get around to use my favourite CAD application, Catia, on Wine as well. This complex application is close, simple things can be done already. Even a small Finite Elements Analysis got the right results. My OS of choice is Ubuntu 11.04, AMD64. With Wine 1.2 from the package manager one gets far, although menus are very slow. Wine

named context or calling include_context with block?
Hello, I''m playing around with Rspec again after going from test/unit to rspec then back to test/unit... :) Right off the bat, I find myself wanting to do something like this: https://gist.github.com/1128091 Basically, I want to name a context, then call it later by name, passing a block to it. Or in other words... what is the best way to DRY this code?
