Okay, thanks. I just tried 6.01-pre1, downloading the .xz file. But that won't build because the gnu-efi directory is empty. ?? Debian's packages can be downloaded and used by anyone, even without having Debian as OS. Even Windows' users can do it. That's similar to downloading and using the upstream archive of Syslinux, whichever OS you are using. The

SYSLINUX 2.06-pre3
I have released a SYSLINUX 2.06-pre3. This includes modifications to ppmtolss16 so that it should now be completely compliant with all modes of the PNM specification, raw/plain, PBM/PGM/PPM, with comment lines or without. ftp://ftp.zytor.com/pub/linux/utils/boot/syslinux/Testing/ Please test it out ASAP if at all possible. Since the fixes for -pre1 and -pre2 were pretty essential, I'd like

Please try with official 6.04-pre1, or (even better) Debian Sid's Syslinux-related binary packages. Please avoid mixing versions of binaries; when using syslinux.efi 6.04-pre1, use also the same version for the corresponding modules

Syslinux-5.10-pre1
Folks, I've just released the first prelease for the 5.10 series. The intention is to leave 5.02-pre3 where it is and move to 5.10-pre1. The only difference between 5.02-pre3 and 5.10-pre1 is the merge of the lwip branch (and a single commit to fixup the -DDEBUG=2 build), which warranted a bump in the version minor number. See the shortlog below for details of the differences between
