GELI partition mount on boot fails after 7.0 -> 7.1-PRERELEASE upgrade
I was using a GELI partition for /usr/home on 7.0, so it attaches and mounts on boot. The problem is it stopped working after the system was upgraded to RELENG_7/7.1-PRERELEASE. Here's how it goes: I have the following /etc/fstab: /dev/ad0s1b none swap sw 0 0 /dev/ad0s1a / ufs rw 1 1 /dev/ad0s1d

[LLVMdev] Starting with LLVM-GCC on Cygwin
Hi, I would like to use LLVM-GCC to compare its performance with other compilers. Something like testsuite "Computing very large Fibonacci numbers" at http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.c%2B%2B.perfometer/37. My environment: ----------------- Windows 2000 Cygwin $ uname -srom CYGWIN_NT-5.0 1.5.11(0.116/4/2) i686 Cygwin ----------------- What do I have to download from

[PATCH NOT TO BE APPLIED] v2v: windows: Make registry changes to all ControlSets, not
[Partly using the mailing list as a backup again ...] This commit changes virt-v2v to make registry changes to all ControlSets, not just the CurrentControlSet. Not sure what difference if any this would make. Rich.

[PATCH 0/4] v2v: simplify Windows registry patching
The way we patch the Windows registry in order to allow it to boot off a virtio-blk drive was initially conceived by comparing the state with virtio-blk driver properly installed, to that without. However, we don't want to replicate the Windows PnP system; rather we need to apply just enough edits to make the system boot, and then let the Windows PnP manager figure out the rest. This series

[PATCH 0/8] Miscellaneous cleanups to Windows registry code.
A very miscellaneous set of cleanups to how we handle the Windows registry in virt-v2v, firstboot, and inspection code. This should all be straightforward non-controversial refactoring. Some highlights: - Add a new mllib Registry module containing various utility functions that are currently scattered all around. - Only compute the software/system hive paths once during inspection, and

ices 0.3 on FreeBSD
I have successfully compiled Ices 0.3 on FreeBSD (4.7 and 4.9). You need to make sure that ALL the dependicies are installed (some depend on others) and when compiling them, that they compile with no problems. <p>Include some output of what errors you are getting and I #should# be able to help you on your way. <p>>From: "dave" <dmehler26@woh.rr.com>

Opieaccess file, is this normal?
Hi, I'm trying to setup one-time passwords on freebsd5.2.1 >From what I've read so far, if the user is present in opiekeys, the opieaccess file determines if the user (coming from a specific host or network) is allowed to use his unix password from this specific network. [PATCH] inspector: add ReactOS systemroot
After adding /reactos as windows systemroot, virt-inspector identified OS as windows with product name ReactOS. Fixes RHBZ#709326. Related bug RHBZ#709327 seems to be already fixed in ReactOS 0.4. Maros Zatko (1): inspector: add /reactos as systemroot src/inspect-fs-windows.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) -- 1.9.3

[PATCH 1/3] inspection: Refactor windows systemroot detection to allow re-use
This change refactors guestfs___has_windows_systemroot to guestfs___get_windows_systemroot. The new function returns a dynamically allocated char * which must be freed. The new function is no less efficient than before, as it returns the result of guestfs___case_sensitive_path_silently, which is required anyway. The new code is slightly more efficient than before, as it re-uses the result of this

Security question for newbie
Hi, I am using Samba version 3.051 in an Active Directory setting with Windows 2000 server. Everything is working rather well with regards to file-sharing and authentication. However, the one thing that I noticed that I haven't been able to fix quickly with SWAT is the prevention of browsing the Linux file-system with users such as 'nobody' or 'bin'. For example... I have a

proj4R library will not install
I'm hoping someone can help me. I have downloaded the proj4R.zip and under my version of R (2.3.1) I install the package from local zip file. This worked great. I then type library(proj4R) to load the library and I get the error: Error in library(proj4R) : 'proj4R' is not a valid package -- installed < 2.0.0? I have read through the install documentation and have downloaded and

Hi again timur
I am completely frustrated at this point. The following is not meant against you personally, but I'm the ONLY I.T. person for 100 users in 6 different offices, and I don't know what to do at this point but beg. I finally figured out what Heimdal is, and I believe is the main problem. Installed 5.2.1 on a machine. Installed krb5 from ports. Changed make.conf adding
