syslinux PXE boot version upgrade, network no longer working

So neither a fork nor a different project ;) . According to the link I had provided:

License Question
Hi, Sorry for writing so many messages. I am doing a license review for syslinux in Debian and I've stumbled on the following files: * efi/console.c * efi/derivative.c * efi/diskio.c * efi/main.c * efi/mem.c * efi/pxe.c * efi/tcp.c * efi/udp.c All of them start with /* * Copyright 2011-2014 Intel Corporation - All Rights Reserved */ with no further indication of any license. syslinux PXE boot version upgrade, network no longer working
Hi David, it's a shot in the dark, but it might be worth trying lpxelinux.0 [1] (instead of pxelinux.0) which contains the newer network stack before falling back to older versions of syslinux. Discard .note.gnu.property section to fix build failure (patch)
Hi, currently syslinux fails to build from source in Debian as has been reported in https://bugs.debian.org/906414 . The reported error is: mbr.bin: too big (452 > 440) I've realized that this is because since a recent version, the linker adds a new section (.note.gnu.property). Discarding this section fixes the problem. I've attached a patch, please consider merging it. Thanks

syslinux PXE boot version upgrade, network no longer working
Hi All, I had some issues with keeppxe and also found a solution after much trial and error. I would have not mind trying out ?experimental? binaries but it was not clear where to find them. I use a stock a stock install of slackware64 current for my tftp server. I use pfsense to point to the tftp server under the dhcp boot options. I upgraded from Syslinux 6.03 to 6.04 pre1 and was still

Syslinux 6.03 released
Hi everyone, I have released Syslinux 6.03. It is by and large identical to 6.03-pre20. I would like to do a short cycle for 6.04, because 64-bit support for ext4 has come up as a very high priority. Therefore I do not want to stuff too many things into the 6.04 release but hold them for 6.05. Thanks to Ady for most of the changelog. Changes in 6.03: * chain: Fix chainloading on 6.02

Debian packaging: newest git version?
Hi, I'm considering packaging syslinux from your git repository (topmost commit "ext4: Fix 64bit feature") for Debian. Currently syslinux version 6.03 is packaged, but the patch queue is quite large (18 patches at the moment, mostly cherry-picked from your git repository). I think updating has advantages: * I can drop most of the patches, making it easier to deal with issues

Patches from Debian
Hi, I've recently started working on the syslinux package on Debian. I noticed there are a few patches applied to the Debian version which seem generally useful to me. Please consider merging them: * 0001-digest-sha.patch: It appears that "Digest::SHA1" has been superseded by "Digest:SHA". * 0003-extlinux-manpage.patch: Updates to the extlinux man page. *

SYSLINUX PXE LOCALBOOT Bitlockers
Label is OS and I believe there are all booting MBR. Is there a way to clear the memory then continue loading ? or rebooting the machine from the menu. I have tried that reboot.c32 and cannot get it to reboot the machine. Dell OptiPlex GX620 can longer boot from CD with syslinux-5.X
We have tried compiling the binaries our self and using the pre-compiled in the syslinux tar ball as well. It just locks up with the text we provided. The problem is booting from CD, booting from USB works. I suspect the problem is in isolinux.bin. The CD only fails on this one machine. It works on everything else we tried. 4.06 worked without any issue on this same machine. Parted Magic has been

Dell OptiPlex GX620 can longer boot from CD with syslinux-5.X
System: Dell OptiPlex GX620 (Both BIOS A10 and A11 affected) Medium: Physical CD-RW Observed: ISOLINUX 5.11 0x51D1AE48 ETCD_ is the only line displayed on-screen. A flashing cursor trails at the end of the line. Escape key does not return boot: prompt. Line1 of syslinux.cfg: DEFAULT vesamenu.c32 Note: Reverting to syslinux-4.06 allows for successful booting on the same system. Patrick On Tue,

I'm not exactly sure what you need. Is this it? ISOLINUX 4.06 0x513e88f5 isolinux: Starting up, DL = 82 isolinux: Loaded spec packet OK, drive = 82 isolinux: Main image LBA = 0000011D isolinux: Main image read, jumping to main code... I created an iso with isolinux-debug.bin as the boot loader and booted it on that machine. If this is not what you are looking for, what are correct steps?
