OpenBSD TFTPD remap rules
Hi! I am using OpenBSD 4.4 with the build-in TFTP-Daemon for PXE. Distributing OpenBSD works fine. Now I want to distribute OpenBSD and WinPE. I've installed PXELinux 3.72 and configured it. Works also fine for PXELinux and distributing OpenBSD. To distribute WinPE I need a remap rule (\ -> /) for the TFTP-Daemon. I've created a file /etc/tftpd.remap with the following rule: rgG \\ /

Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r708 - in trunk: . clients server
With the Ipv6 patch (r708), I get: upsclient.c: In function `upscli_connect': upsclient.c:469: `AI_ADDRCONFIG' undeclared (first use in this function) upsclient.c:469: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once upsclient.c:469: for each function it appears in.) Even if it doesn't break IPv4 support, it may break portability, as IPv6 seems to require specific functions that are

Bug#793921: tftpd-hpa: IPv6 address cannonization breaks IPv4
Take 2 at bouncing this to the rest of the original recipients through a different MTA, since mail.zytor.com refused to accept it the first time. Please re-add Jason Gunthorpe <jgg at obsidianresearch.com> and 793921 at bugs.debian.org to the CC for replies. I mixed too many things that IMHO improve the code but actually only care about one of those. So I suggest we restart the discussion with focusing on that one thing only. Let me try that: Currently tftpd when

Mongrel process unexpectedly dying
We tried to give Mongrel a go running our application which has moderate traffic. We got mongrel up and running easy enough but 3 times in a short period(2hours) mongrel just died with the following error when we went live to production with it. As you can see we are running mongrel-0.3.13.3. /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/mongrel-0.3.13.3/lib/mongrel.rb:576:in`peeraddr'': Transport endpoint

[PATCH] Use canonical hostname for DNS SSHFP lookup
In the current implementation, ssh always uses the hostname supplied by the user directly for the SSHFP DNS record lookup. This causes problems when using the domain search path, e.g. I have "search example.com" in my resolv.conf and then do a "ssh host", I will connect to host.example.com, but ssh will query the DNS for an SSHFP record of "host.", not

I''d like to convert some simple, general ruby scripts I have into rails apps just for testing purposes. Many of these apps are not DB driven, so the whole CRUD concept does not apply to them... here''s a sample: require ''socket'' server = TCPServer.new(''12345'') while (session = server.accept) Thread.new(session) do |this_session|
