SYSLINUX wiki under construction
A friend of mine, John Hawley, had the kindness to set up MediaWiki on my server; I didn't even have to do anything at all :) The goal is to migrate the website over completely to the Wiki over time, but I thought I'd offer that if someone is willing to help out and move the contents over, it would be delightful... this is a Wiki after all :) The Wiki is (temporarily) parked at

Syslinux Text menu not redrawing/resetting the screen
Hi, I have been using syslinux on my portable disk with success on many types of machines (both bios boot and EFI boot) I however hit a small issue recently If I use menu.c32, on some UEFI systems (HP) the menu does not appear after the vendor splash screen. The system however goes ahead and after the timeout configured in the menu system syslinux boots the kernel. I can then (after kernel

Syslinux 6.03 for booting Mac Intels?
Hi, So far I use the official binaries to boot an USB installer in UEFI and BIOS mode. I want to add a (recent) MacBooks target. I know that needs to set up on the device an HFS+ partition with a specific layout, but my question is: do you know if the official binaries: $SYSLINUX_SRC/efi64/efi/syslinux.efi $SYSLINUX_SRC/efi64/com32/elflink/ldlinux/ldlinux.e64 work in that context? Best
