TFTP-HPA beginner needs help
Thank you for the info Groeten. I have the TFTPD-HPA server address set to 192.168.1.9:69 I am unable to ping this address and I wonder if the server address should be the same as the network interface card (ethernet card) I am using. The files I want to upload are in /srv/tftpboot, so I'm not sure why the command cd /tmp was used. John At 03:21 PM 9/2/2015, Geert Stappers via Syslinux

tftp times out
tftp keeps timing out when I try to transfer files. I intend to use tftp with G4U to clone a standard workstation. I am testing it between two Dell poweredge servers running CentOS 4.3. "chkconfig --list |grep tftp" shows tftp up and running on both boxes. When connected "tftp>status" shows it is talking to the other box "tptp>trace" shows "sent WRQ

tftp-hpa 5.2
I sure did check the firewall and selinux as well. As an extreme testing major, they are both turned off. $ systemctl status firewalld firewalld.service - firewalld - dynamic firewall daemon ? ?Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/firewalld.service; disabled) ? ?Active: inactive (dead) sestatus? SELinux status: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? disabled Actually, now tftp transfers are denied $ tftp 127.0.0.1

EFI Reboot Timer
I am working on setting up a global boot server that serves up files across the WAN. I am running into a 5 minute timer that is rebooting my hosts before they can complete the kernel and initrd file download. The servers in questions are HP DL60s, and they use UEFI. I am using syslinux.efi version 6.03. They get the kernel file from the TFTP server in about 2 ? minutes, then get 2 ? more minutes

hpa-tftp with xinetd
Good day, Just a quick question- could someone please confirm that this is the correct xinetd configuration (or not) for hpa-tftp? We've noticed that, when under moderate load hpa-tftpd resides in memory, even after there are no connections or even if xinetd is shut down. Under light load the server goes away after each connection, as desired. Thanks in advance! service tftp {

tftp-hpa 5.2
Hello everyone, I am having difficulties in setting up a tftp server on a Fedora 3.14.8-200.fc20.x86_64. Running tftp client to test the server functionality, a simple get from the terminal prompts 'Transfer timed out.' back. The version is tftp-hpa 5.2, with remap, with tcpwrappers, unfortunately I am not able to find any log in the system journal.? The server and related services appear
