laptop keyboard not detected under xen
I have a TOSHIBA Satellite S855 with Bios 6.60 laptop.
When I try to use xen-4.3 with it I cannot get the keyboard to work... If
I plug in a USB keyboard the USB keyboard functions fine...
I suspect Xen might have problems with this hardware.
I am running archlinux with the 3.9.3-1Arch kernel and xen-4.3 from the
aur.
I see the same problem with xen-4.2 for what it is worth.
I found some

Instant complete crash on laptop
I've been using Wine to run an old game (Stronghold Crusader) with no major trouble, however twice now if I run it for a goodly time (about an hour) my laptop suddenly switches off and will not power back on (with the power button) until I've disconnected then re-connected the power cord. The crash is as though the battery has run out and the laptop is doing an emergency shutdown, but when

Is NetworkManager-wifi installed?
I remember after I installed Centos first time (7.0) wifi worked.
When I later did a reinstall (7.2) during installation wifi worked fine,
but after a reboot not.
Seems NetworkManager-wifi did not get installed by default.

nVidia GT218M [GeForce 315M] issues on kUbuntu 17.04 x86-64.
OK I got access to the hardware, it's Toshiba Satellite L730. One of the
obvious problems is that there's no video in VLC nor in Dragon Player.
Is this expected?
Some output:

Running R (either 1.0.0 or 0.99.0) under Windows 98 on
my Toshiba laptop (Satellite 4080), I get a problem
when I hit the print toolbar button with the graph window on top.
It declares an illegal operation, and produces the error

The debug version says the following:

isolinux: Loaded spec packed OK, drive = 82
and that's it. No boot there.

Centos 5.5 on a Toshiba Satellite L1500D - Wireless networking - Realtek 8172
I just installed Centos 5.5 x86_64 on a new Toshiba Satellite L1500D.
Everything seems to work (so far) other than the wireless networking;
lscpi tells me:

device 8172 (rev 10)
I discovered that I need the realtek driver, so I found and downloaded

Illegal instruction - R 1.7.1 under RH 9 Intel
I installed R 1.7.1 on my intel desktop (RH 9) without any problems. I
installed the same binary (R-1.7.1-1.i386.rpm) on my Toshiba Satellite
2535cds (RH 9). R starts as usual all the way to how to quit then prints:
Illegal instruction
and exits to the shell prompt. I also had installed the patched readline
rpm.
How can I fix this? I've never had a problem running R before on the

When I installed Debian Potato onto a Toshiba Satellite T1910CS
about a year and half ago using SYSLINUX everything went well. Now,
however, using SYSLINUX that comes with the bootdisk of Debian Woody
boot-up stops soon after the floppy is read with a 'Boot failed'

I've received one email from someone having this trouble about six

Trouble with Starcraft II, actual gameplay doesn't work.
I installed starcraft 2 into wine, and everything works perfectly fine. I log in, go to singleplayer, start a game with the AI, and everything works as it should. But the actual game doesn't work, I can't see or control any units or
buildings. Example:
