ipconfig bug with multiple interfaces
Hello,
if ipconfig is run as ipconfig :::::: (i.e. long spec with all fields empty)
and the computer has multiple network interfaces and only one of them is
connected to dhcp managed network, ipconfig ends up in an infinite loop (see
the log bellow).
The following patch solved this for me. According to README, if the <device>
in the long spec is empty, the first interface should be

[PATCH] ipconfig: send hostname in DHCP request
If a hostname is requested, for example -d ::::foo::dhcp, then include the
hostname in the DHCP discover/request. This patch also allows
the vendor class identifier to be omitted from the DHCP
discover/request by specifying -i ""

ipconfig related question (do not get static IP setting)
Hi!! I found your ipconfig stuff in the udev rpm in SuSE 9.1. I'm about to
setup a initramfs (pretty cool - much better than initrd) to boot linux
diskless clients over the net. All the tools I would need, seem to be
there with ipconfig/nfsmount ...
I like to use the information I get from PXE/syslinux or Etherboot
writing something like:

[PATCH] Don't try to guess the nameserver in ipconfig.
klibcs ipconfig tries to guess the nameserver if no nameserver is
provided. This may happen due to misconfigured dhcp or the use of
the ip= parameter.
This patch removes the guessing from ipconfig as it is not possible for
any other script to determine if the provided nameserver is valid or
a guessed one. If the old behavior is really needed this could be easily
implemented in an external script.

[PATCH] Escape DHCP options written to /tmp/net-$DEVCICE.conf
DHCP options like domain-name or hostname are written to
/tmp/net-$DEVICE.conf which is typically later used by other scripts to
determine the network configuration. This is done by sourcing the
/tmp/net-$DEVICE.conf file to get all defined variables.
This patch escapes the DHCP options written to /tmp/net-$DEVICE.conf
to prevent arbitrary code execution.

[PATCH 0/4] usr/kinit checkpatch
Various coding style fixes checkpatch warns about.
The goal is not to be 100% checkpatch compliant,
but to have more consistent coding style.
As this is a trivial patch serie, will land in 24 hours in klibc git,
unless of course ml review hits a bugger.
Checked with size(3) that the generated kinit, fstype, ipconfig and
nfsmount are the same.

[PATCH] nfsmount: support nfsvers= and vers= options
The standard mount option nowadays to specify NFS version is "nfsvers", as
documented in nfs(5) on modern Linux systems. Up to now, nfsmount only
supported the old "v2" or "v3" boolean options.
Extend option parsing to support both "nfsvers=X" and "vers=X", with X
being equal to either 2 or 3 (nfsmount does not support NFSv4 at present).

Setting up simple routing for all trafic of one host through another
Hello dear tinc users,
I've been looking for a while now for a solution in the mailing list and
maybe I'm guiltily too lazy to learn all that there is to know about
Linux routing and that's why I'm still stuck.
To get right to it: I have 2 hosts connected with tinc - one of them is
a VPS with a public address and static IP address and the other is my
desktop machine, both run
