fix build failure on 64-bit parisc
On PA-RISC machines running in 64-bit mode, uname -m returns `parisc64' instead of `parisc.' Thus, we must sed this to match like a few other platforms. klibc parisc64
I hacked out a rough first implementation of parisc64 for klibc last month, and only just got around to testing it now. The good news, it compiled fine on the first shot. The bad news, it failed to link usr/klibc/libc.so, and I'm not clueful enough to know why. hppa64-linux-gnu-ld -Ttext 0x40001000 -o usr/klibc/libc.so --start-group [...] usr/klibc/socketcalls/recvmsg.o

[PATCH] Extend Multiboot1 with support for ELF64 file format
This patch is just a (shameless) copy from bug #28 [1]. The original patch has been sitting there for a couple of years now, and it was based on Syslinux v 4.05. The patch I am posting here is just a re-base on v.6.03. Whichever inadequate formatting (tabs, trailing spaces...), or any kind of correction that was required for the original patch to be accepted, is probably still required now.

PA-RISC (hppa) video cards init failure loading the device driver kernel module
Not sure about the radeon issue, but "DRM: GPU lockup - switching to software fbcon" basically means "the CPU isn't able to submit commands, or the GPU isn't executing the commands". Basically the GPU can only have so many commands outstanding [well, command buffers], and we hit that limit. >From what I understand, PA-RISC has a "funny" architecture that

I would like to embed the encoder into a NEC V850 system (for an application similar to a digital intercom system). Wondering if there have been any measurements quantifying the FLOPS required to support the encoding algorithm.
