Another R syntax question
The file src/library/base/R/print.R
contains this line:
x0 <- xm[okP]==0 != (as.numeric(Cf[okP])==0)
I didn't know R allowed that, and I wonder if it is deliberate?
In mathematics, you would expect x = y not= z to mean
(x = y) and (y not= z).;
In R, it is parsed as (x == y) != z.
While I have to admit that the spacing around == and != in

jbd count incremented *even* if volume is mounted RO?
Continuing on with my earlier post . . . after looking
through code of JBD, is the following perhaps the
difference in why the md5 values differ;
When a journalled filesystem that uses jbd is mounted
the journal b_count is incremented by one?
*EVEN* if the volume was mounted read only, this
b_count is still increased by one?
curious as ever!

Best practice for creating an RO LDAP User in AD...
Caming from Samba in NT mode with OpenLDAP backend i've created a bunch
of ''things'' (apps, web tools, ...; but also printers and so on) that
rely on reading ''public'' data in LDAP.
With OpenLDAP ''public'' was a easy concept: anonymous access was
the default, and ACL protect more sensitive data (mostly, passwords).
Now i've to redo some

Shortly come back.
I've created a 'Restricted' OU, a 'Restricted' group (i'm short in
fantasy, today ;) and i've created an 'mta' user, both user and group
in 'Restricted' OU, of course.

I dont beleave it.
That 5 years old now, normaly i'll dig into it, but exim... I dropped exim about 15 years ago..
First thing i do on debian...
apt-get install --purge postfix
That installs postfix and removes exim and purges exims config.. ;-)
