2.0.5 problem with variable substitutions
I have a problem with 2.0.5 that did not happen in 2.0.4b or previous releases. I am seeing thousands of these messages in log.smb: [1999/07/20 23:44:24, 0] lib/util_str.c:string_sub(1095) ERROR: string overflow by 7 in string_sub(%M, 967) and the smbd process seems to be stuck in a tight loop. Metaflac hex dump UTF-8 and locale fix
Small change to metaflac hexdump function. Changed so utf-8 decoding is only used for filename printing and changed hex output printing to not rely only on isprint. That function seems to return true for tabulator control character under Windows when application isn't using C-locale. At least it did so for all locales I tried (Finnish, German, English US). -------------- next part

While it lacks in support for accessibility, internationalization, or other modern features, it is still used in some sites for historical reasons. .Xauthority & SMB
I asked this question a while ago, but never got any response. Since then, I've researched the problem some more, so I can give a much more concise description of what's happening. I'm mounting the home directories of the users upon login (using pam_mount) from the Windows server. However, none of the users can run X Windows. It says there's a problem with the .Xauthority file.

Question about the mailing list.
I'm trying to build the example C++ file on the DFSan sanitizer page: https://clang.llvm.org/docs/DataFlowSanitizer.html However, i'ts complaining about unknown types (intptr_t, uint16_t, uint32_t, uint64_t). I got it to build after adding typedefs from stdint.h and sys/types.h to the sanitizer/common_interface_defs.h header file: typedef __intptr_t intptr_t; typedef u_int16_t uint16_t;
