Student looking to contribute toward Xapian
Hello everyone, I have recently completed my engineering in Computer Science. I came across Xapian while looking for GSoC organisations. I was browsing through the ideas page and it was written that you would be willing to mentor anyone interested in working on those projects. I am interested in this: http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/GSoCProjectIdeas#Project:LearningtoRank and this:

Submission and CHUNKING
Hi, It seems that there is an issue with the submission service when the SMTP server advertises chunking (I use Exim v4.91). I tried this with Dovecot v2.3.3 and current master and could reproduce it with both versions. My setup is that dovecot submission proxies to Exim on port 10025. The first mail gets through without any issues, but the second email will not get send. I had this issue at

Questions on Blocklinear Mipmaps and auto-sizing
I'm currently implementing mipmaps but I have a set of troubles guessing the block height and block depth of them. According to https://envytools.readthedocs.io/en/latest/hw/memory/g80-surface.html#textures-mipmapping-and-arrays the texture unit auto resizes mipmaps' blocks but how do I know how many blocks each one uses? I'm currently using this algorithm: u32 height =

VoIP bad voice quality
Hi, We have Asterisk, running on a P4 box running Suse 9.1, making calls using IAX through SimpleTelecom and Nufone. What we are looking for is toll quality voice. The problem is that voice over calls routed through SimpleTelecom and nNufone occassionally breaks. We also have a digium card and the calls over the digium card using the Zaptel Interface have a very good quality. We

AGI script fails on IAX channels (from call file).
Hi Guys, I have already tried this one on the developers list. I have not been successful getting much back there and I have notified them that I will post this on the users list instead. Hopefully somebody have tried something similar and can help out. I am developing AGI scripts on Asterisk and have run into some very strange behaviour and I think this is a bug, but I am not completely sure.

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question / issue so please feel free to redirect me to an appropriate list. My driver and graphics card information is below. This configuration has been working great (much better than the nvidia proprietary driver) until I upgraded from kernel 5.0 to 5.3. The desktop keeps hanging every few minutes (the mouse usually keeps working but windows,

Upgrade to 5.3?
Hey Listee's! I'm not that up on CentOS so I'd be curious to know if it is possible to upgrade CentOS 5.2 to 5.3 without reinstalling? Perhaps via Yum? Or can you get update RPMs? I hope this doesn't pose to much of a stupid question. Thanks for your help everyone. Regards, James ;) -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GIT/MU/U dpu s: a--> C++>$ U+> L++>
