FXTextField and text alignment
Hi, When the text inside an FXTextField is larger that the available space, the FXTextField apparently "switches" from left alignment to right aligment: you only see the end of the text. When the text is smaller than the available space, text is aligned on the left. Is there a way to change that, and have left alignment all the time? I''ve been trying a few things, like

[PATCH] Use X-Fleur cursor on move
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I'm Trevi?o (AKA Trevinho, AKA 3v1n0, AKA trevi55 ;P) it's my first message here, also if I'm reading the ML from the archives since long time... I maintened a beryl-svn (then git) repository, and I'm planning to do the same as soon as I can for compiz-git (BTW, some pre-release packages are at http://tinyurl.com/396up9),

Maria 10 breaks unixodbc mysql connector
What I have found is that the only new shared objects between the different versions of the running isqls is: < lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 24 Oct 31 21:25 /usr/lib64/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.18 -> libmysqlclient.so.18.0.0 > lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 24 Nov 2 12:13 /usr/lib64/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.18 -> libmysqlclient.so.18.0.0 ... also this is the only shared object with a different

Maria 10 breaks unixodbc mysql connector
I think the solution may exist. The compatibility of mysql-connector-odbc with maria may just means the driver can access the mariadb - but my experience suggests not live on the same host. maria has its own connector: https://downloads.mariadb.org/connector-odbc/ it does not look like this is in the sig, so I'll have to turn to the maria repo. I'll try replacing the driver first, then

Maria 10 breaks unixodbc mysql connector
I recently installed mariadb-server 10.1 by adding the following repository: baseurl = http://yum.mariadb.org/10.1/centos7-amd64 ...all was well until we had a power failure and upon rebooting unixodbc was segfaulting. Once I did a yum undo, the mysql odbc driver was functional. I traced it to the following: [root at ec-ast yum.repos.d]# ldd /usr/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so | grep -iE

read.spss: option "to.data.frame" and string variables
Dear R-users, I am using R version 2.10.1 and package foreign version 0.8-39 under windows. When reading .sav-Files (PASW Statistics 18.0.1) containing string variables, these are automatically converted to factors when using option "to.data.frame = TRUE" (see example below). It's clear to me why this happens (the default behaviour of a call to as.data.frame). But this is not

Latest kernel crashes X and gnome
Hi, Anyone else having problems with kernel 3.10.0-957.5.1.el7.x86_64? After my yum update today a reboot hung. A quick look at the Xorg.0.log shows two of my graphics cards appear to be working okay but the third one (I have two nvidia cards with a monitor each and then use the inbuilt intel one for the third monitor) gives: <cut> [??? 14.246] (II) Loading sub module "fb"
