[ANNOUNCE] libXi 1.2.99.2
libXi is moving fast, and having tarballs can make it easier on testers. So
here it is, the first libXi tarball including XI2.
Changelog below includes all changes since the bump from the stable 1.2
branch.
Note that libXi is not stable yet in regards to the XI2 API.

AMI eventmask question
I'm creating an AMI client and I only want to get newchannel events (as well as responses to any actions I initiate). What would I set the eventmask to to only get the newchannel events?
For anyone else looking...is there a table somewhere online that maps events to their eventmask categories? I checked the asterisk wiki and voip-info but can't find this...

Help, Wine isn't working
I've followed the guide but when i try to install this comes up, please help (i don't know anything about this sh*t) i'm just trying to play Crusader Kings II and Dear Esther

problem installing WINE
Hi, I had to rearrange the user accounts on my iMac (10.6.8) and need to re-instal WINE from the new admin account since the original one got mucked up (for one thing, the .wine directory got deleted which is in user space). It's objecting to the activation of python27:

overheating Thinkpad X60s with 7.0-RC1
Hello everybody!
Since the update from 6.2-STABLE to 7.0 I'm encountering problems with the
temperature of my Thinkpad X60s. Under heavy load, e.g., make builworld or
compile gcc or... I get the following output in /var/log/messages:
