[PATCH 2/6] drm/nouveau: Use drm_dp_get_payload_info() for getting payload/vcpi
Currently, nouveau tries to go through the drm_dp_mst_port structures itself in order to retrieve the relevant payload and VCPI information that it needs to report to the GPU. This is wrong: mstc->port could be destroyed at any point, and additionally the payload could be changed at any point because it doesn't bother trying to grab the payload lock. So; remove nv50_msto_payload entirely

[WIP PATCH 10/15] drm/nouveau: Stop unsetting mstc->port, use malloc refs
Same as we did for i915, but for nouveau this time. Additionally, we grab a malloc reference to the port that lasts for the entire lifetime of nv50_mstc, which gives us the guarantee that mstc->port will always point to valid memory for as long as the mstc stays around. [WIP PATCH 11/15] drm/nouveau: Grab payload lock in nv50_msto_payload()
Going through the currently programmed payloads isn't safe without holding mgr->payload_lock, so actually do that and warn if anyone tries calling nv50_msto_payload() in the future without grabbing the right locks. [WIP PATCH 08/15] drm/nouveau: Remove unnecessary VCPI checks in nv50_msto_cleanup()
There is no need to look at the port's VCPI allocation before calling drm_dp_mst_deallocate_vcpi(), as we already have msto->disabled to let us avoid cleaning up an msto more then once. The DP MST core will never call drm_dp_mst_deallocate_vcpi() on it's own, which is presumably what these checks are meant to protect against. More importantly though, we're about to stop clearing

[PATCH] drm/dp_mst: add missed nv50_outp_release in nv50_msto_disable
nv50_msto_disable() does not call nv50_outp_release() to match nv50_outp_acquire() like other disable(). Add the missed call to fix it. [PATCH v2 25/27] drm/dp_mst: Add basic topology reprobing when resuming
Finally! For a very long time, our MST helpers have had one very annoying issue: They don't know how to reprobe the topology state when coming out of suspend. This means that if a user has a machine connected to an MST topology and decides to suspend their machine, we lose all topology changes that happened during that period. That can be a big problem if the machine was connected to a

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: NV_DEBUG and NV_ATOMIC should call __drm_debug_enabled
Commit 6ce6fae84536 ("drm_print: optimize drm_debug_enabled for jump-label") changed drm_debug_enabled() to print a warning debug message every time it's called: todo: is this frequent enough to optimize ? Because the Nouveau macros NV_DEBUG and NV_ATOMIC call drm_debug_enabled(), this message can appear hundreds of times when the driver is loaded with debug messages enabled. To

[PATCH v2 6/7] drm/nouveau: Convert nouveau to use new iterator macros, v2.
Use the new atomic iterator macros, the old ones are about to be removed. With the new macros, it's more easy to get old and new state so get them from the macros instead of from obj->state. Changes since v1: - Don't mix up old and new state. (danvet) - Rebase on top of interruptible swap_state changes. Signed-off-by: Maarten Lankhorst <maarten.lankhorst at linux.intel.com> Cc:

[RFC v5 10/10] drm/nouveau/kms/nvd9-: Add CRC support
This introduces support for CRC readback on gf119+, using the documentation generously provided to us by Nvidia: https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-doc/blob/master/Display-CRC/display-crc.txt We expose all available CRC sources. SF, SOR, PIOR, and DAC are exposed through a single set of "outp" sources: outp-active/auto for a CRC of the scanout region, outp-complete for a CRC of both
