problem extracting data from a set of list vectors
Dear useRs,
A colleague has sent me several batches of output I need to process, and I'm struggling with the format to the point that I don't even know how to extract a test set to upload here. My apologies, but I think that my issue is straightforward enough (for some of you, not for me!) that you can help in the absence of a test set. Here is the scenario:

Thanks-solved:RE: problem extracting data from a set of list vectors
Thanks Don and Jim,
"Get" did the trick! That command is new to me, and is exactly what this problem needed. The syntax that worked is actually slightly simpler than what was suggested. This is what worked:
all.comps <- ls(pattern="^res")
for(i in all.comps){
obj = get(i);
...
Thanks again.

Dial an extension with follow me
Hi people, I have an extension which has configured the follow me (it derives to an IVR).
If in my dialplan I put Dial(extenX) (where extenX is that extension) and if it is not available, it should execute the IVR, is that right?
Well, I think it should be, but it doesn't...
Here is my CLI:
Starting SIP/CALLUS-00000b3f at join-dial,,1 failed so falling back to exten 's'

Having trouble getting started on writing a WDC 65816 backend
I asked about this in IRC ~2.5 hours ago:
<srnb> I'm trying to write an LLVM backend for the WDC 65816 (for usage in compiling SNES code) but I have very little experience with how C++ works and LLVM's CMakeLists. I'm trying to follow the guide but I don't know how to check if the project builds after my changes or how to test a small amount of C with it once I get it

Wine - ARM - Pandora Handheld
A quick, and probably a silly few questions regarding Wine & ARM support.
In a few months time, a new hand held created by a open source community is going to be released. More specificity Pandora: http://openpandora.org/
Its going to run with the following specs:
* ARM? Cortex?-A8 600Mhz+ CPU running Linux
* 430-MHz TMS320C64x+? DSP Core
* PowerVR SGX OpenGL 2.0 ES compliant 3D

quick question
vcut (windows): what do you put in for the cutpoint (ex. how many numbers)
and how do you find out these numbers (ex. how do you find out what the
point in the file you want to cut it at is)

Webrtc and adventures with Asterisk 11
Hi,
I spent the past week experimenting with webrtc + asterisk 11.9.0-rc1 +
opus/vb8 codec patch. This is interesting technology and I try to find
out how to connect all the moving parts.
Firefox:
Neither sipml5 or jssip works with calls to asterisk, audio/video
doesn't matter.

fixme:commdlg:GetFileName95 Flags 0x00000002 not yet implemented
Greetings!
I am attempting to run Groove Mechanic ( http://www.coyotes.bc.ca )
under wine.
It is able to get past the licence check and record from the sound card.
But when I attempt to open a WAV file to process I get the error
message:
fixme:commdlg:GetFileName95 Flags 0x00000002 not yet implemented
and the program hangs with focus switching between the GM window and the

telephony that "just works"
Hello list,
I am looking for a way to have multiple remote Windows users download a
package and get connected to *. My idea would be that they run a simple
app, it connects without any setting to an * box (maybe via IAX) and then
people press a button to talk. It would be okay if they had to enter a
username and password, but not more than that.
Looking for such software, I keep finding

Asterisk 13 - Call Bridge issue.
I have the following senerio.
Call file calls 1st party.
When connected give called party option to connect to second party.
Issue Dial to second party. Caller answers and the two are bridged
together.
My issue is that 4 out of 5 calls fail to bridge the audio.
Am I missing something or is there some kind of bug? Here is my test

Microsoft Office 2007 and Wine only
First off before I delve into the purpose of this thread I want to lay down a few ground rules. This thread is only about MS OFFICE 2007 (OFFICE 12) and Wine. No Exceptions!
To break it down further I don't want any information about the following alternatives which I know work, but defeat the purpose.
No talk of:
Open Office (Ooo)
MS OFFICE 2000, XP or 2003

Samba + AD Authentication: Restricting access to shares
Because most of our servers are restricted to specific user groups and
the AD domain covers the entire university, I need to find a way to
limit access to samba shares, preferably using AD security groups; i.e.
I want to do something like:
[EMdata]
comment = TEM Data
path = /EMdata
valid users = @cns-cryo-emusers
guest ok = no
writeable = yes

dddraw unable to draw in CVS
Hi,
I often build wine every 2 or 3 days from cvs source, and I recognize
that there are updates around x11drv, ddraws, and d3d8/9 at these days.
4 or 5 days ago, where I found that ddraws are unable to draw at all
(was still working wine 0.9.15) in some games/programs which use it.
Ones use GDI and OpenGL seem fine. Here is an example of win32 binary
which is Snes9x, an emulator of a console,

Win95 won't work with Samba 2.0.2
Hmmm... I've sent a couple of questions to the list recently, with
no responses. Are my messages getting out?
Since upgrading to 2.0.2, our Win95 boxes are having problems
accessing shares. WinNT works perfectly. Win95 worked fine
with 1.whatever, but now it can only see files that are actually in
the share directory. It can see subdirectories of the share, but
they appear as empty

Sorry about the "Sent by Migadu" message at the bottom of these emails. I looked through settings but I don't know how to get rid of it.
