[PATCH AUTOSEL 5.4 310/459] drm/nouveau/gr/gk20a, gm200-: add terminators to method lists read from fw
From: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs at redhat.com>
[ Upstream commit 7adc77aa0e11f25b0e762859219c70852cd8d56f ]
Method init is typically ordered by class in the FW image as ThreeD,
TwoD, Compute.
Due to a bug in parsing the FW into our internal format, we've been
accidentally sending Twod + Compute methods to the ThreeD class, as
well as Compute methods to the TwoD class - oops.

[PATCH v2 0/6] Improve GK20A support, introduce GM20B, firmware paths
Second version of this patchset. Not many changes since first version - I hope
this means the changes are not too controversial.
Changes since v1:
- Removed lookup for previous FW files in "nouveau/"
- Went back to using request_firmware() since we only try to load one file
Original cover letter follows:
GM20B is the GPU of the upcoming Tegra X1 SoC. This series adds initial support

[PATCH 0/6] Improve GK20A and introduce GM20B support
Hello everyone,
GM20B is the GPU of the upcoming Tegra X1 SoC. This series adds initial support
for it, based on a rework of the already-supported GK20A. It also introduces
support for NVIDIA-provided firmware files, which is why I have added a few
NVIDIA people who are relevant to this discussion.
The first patch adds support for loading the FECS and GPCCS firmwares from
firmware files

[PATCH v3 00/11] nouveau: add secure boot support for dGPU and Tegra
New version of the secure boot code that works with the blobs just merged into
linux-firmware. Since the required Mesa patches are also merged, this set is
the last piece of the puzzle to get out-of-the-box accelerated Maxwell 2.
The basic code remains the same, with a few improvements with respect to how
secure falcons are started. Hopefully the patchset is better split too.

Threed32.ocx error wwhen installing VB6 application
I am finally migrating from Windows to Ubuntu and I am installing a number of Windows electronics and CAD package using Wine 1.0.1-0 on Ubuntu 8.10. Most run with no issues at all and I am very impressed with Wine. However I am now trying to install AADE Filter, a VB6-based filter design application and I get the following message at the end of the installation process:

[PATCH 2/4] drm/nouveau: Move struct nouveau_framebuffer.vma to struct nouveau_fbdev
The vma field of struct nouveau_framebuffer is a special field for the
the accelerated fbdev console. Hence there's at most one single instance
for the active console. Moving it into struct nouveau_fbdev makes struct
nouveau_framebuffer slightly smaller and brings it closer to struct
drm_framebuffer.

[PATCH] secboot/gm200: use proper memory target function
Use nvkm_memory_target() to know the location of the instance block used
for secure boot, instead of guessing through the presence of a RAM
device.

Ben, feel free to squash this one into the original secboot patch since
it is a really minor fix.

[PATCH] secboot/gm200: fix suspend/resume
The state of the falcons was not properly updated after running the
unload ACR, which caused it to be run again (and thus fail) when
nvkm_secboot_fini() was called during resume.

Ben, please feel free to squash this into the gm200 secboot implementation
patch - this fixes a bug that should not have been here to begin with.

[PATCH v7 3/5] drm/nouveau: Fix deadlock with fb_helper with async RPM requests
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that fb_helper's locking is a mess.
That being said; fb_helper's locking mess can seriously complicate the
runtime suspend/resume operations of drivers because it can invoke
atomic commits and connector probing from anywhere that calls
drm_fb_helper_hotplug_event(). Since most drivers use
drm_fb_helper_output_poll_changed() as their

[PREVIEW] GM200/GM204 signed firmware for Nouveau
Hi everyone,
I know, it's about f**king time and I apologize for the time it took us
to finally put this together. m(__)m
I have pushed two git branches which enable GM200 and GM204 (GM206 to
follow soon) owners to finally load NVIDIA-provided signed firmware and
start GR:
- https://github.com/Gnurou/linux-firmware/tree/secboot contains the
signed firmware for GM200 and GM204 (they are

[PATCH] virtio_serial: A char device for simple guest <-> host communication
We expose multiple char devices ("ports") for simple communication
between the host userspace and guest.
Sample offline usages can be: poking around in a guest to find out
the file systems used, applications installed, etc. Online usages
can be sharing of clipboard data between the guest and the host,
sending information about logged-in users to the host, locking the
screen or session

[PATCH v2] drm/nouveau: Remove file nouveau_fbcon.c
Commit 4a16dd9d18a0 ("drm/nouveau/kms: switch to drm fbdev helpers")
converted nouveau to generic fbdev emulation. The driver's internal
implementation later got accidentally restored during a merge commit.
Remove the file from the driver. No functional changes.
