[RFC PATCH 00/13] SVM (share virtual memory) with HMM in nouveau
From: Jérôme Glisse <jglisse at redhat.com> (mm is cced just to allow exposure of device driver work without ccing a long list of peoples. I do not think there is anything usefull to discuss from mm point of view but i might be wrong, so just for the curious :)). git://people.freedesktop.org/~glisse/linux branch: nouveau-hmm-v00

[PATCH 10/16] nouveau/hmm: support mapping large sysmem pages
Nouveau currently only supports mapping PAGE_SIZE sized pages of system memory when shared virtual memory (SVM) is enabled. Use the new HMM_PFN_COMPOUND flag that hmm_range_fault() returns to support mapping system memory pages larger than PAGE_SIZE. [PATCH 0/6] nouveau/hmm: add support for mapping large pages
hmm_range_fault() returns an array of page frame numbers and flags for how the pages are mapped in the requested process' page tables. The PFN can be used to get the struct page with hmm_pfn_to_page() and the page size order can be determined with compound_order(page) but if the page is larger than order 0 (PAGE_SIZE), there is no indication that the page is mapped using a larger page size. [PATCH v3 3/5] nouveau: fix mapping 2MB sysmem pages
The nvif_object_ioctl() method NVIF_VMM_V0_PFNMAP wasn't correctly setting the hardware specific GPU page table entries for 2MB sized pages. Fix this by adding functions to set and clear PD0 GPU page table entries. [PATCH v3 0/5] mm/hmm/nouveau: add PMD system memory mapping
The goal for this series is to introduce the hmm_pfn_to_map_order() function. This allows a device driver to know that a given 4K PFN is actually mapped by the CPU using a larger sized CPU page table entry and therefore the device driver can safely map system memory using larger device MMU PTEs. The series is based on 5.8.0-rc3 and is intended for Jason Gunthorpe's hmm tree. These were

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/mmu: Fix trailing semicolon
The trailing semicolon is an empty statement that does no operation. Removing it since it doesn't do anything. status of Continuous availability in SMB3
hi Michael Adam: Thanks for you work on samba. Here I am looking for some advice and your help. I have been stuck in continuous availability of samba 4.3.9 for two weeks. Continuous availability in SMB3 is an attractive feature and I am strugling to enable it. smb.conf, ctdb.conf are attached. Cluster file system is cephfs and mount to /CephStorage client: Windows 8 Pro root at node0:~# samba

[PATCH v2 0/5] mm/hmm/nouveau: add PMD system memory mapping
The goal for this series is to introduce the hmm_range_fault() output array flags HMM_PFN_PMD and HMM_PFN_PUD. This allows a device driver to know that a given 4K PFN is actually mapped by the CPU using either a PMD sized or PUD sized CPU page table entry and therefore the device driver can safely map system memory using larger device MMU PTEs.
