[PATCH 0/9] drm/print: add and use drm_debug_enabled()
Hi all, just a little refactoring around drm_debug access to abstract it better. There shouldn't be any functional changes. I'd appreciate acks for merging the lot via drm-misc. If there are any objections to that, we'll need to postpone the last patch until everything has been merged and converted in drm-next. BR, Jani. Cc: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher at amd.com> Cc:

[PATCH 0/3] Kconfig dependencies: acpi-video, backlight and thermal
Hi everyone, It took me a while to figure this out properly, as I kept getting circular or missing dependencies with video drivers. This set of three patches should simplify the situation a bit, mostly by cleaning up the dependencies around CONFIG_ACPI_VIDEO. With all three patches applied, I no longer run into those related warnings. If everyone agrees on the general direction, I hope we can

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: NV_DEBUG and NV_ATOMIC should call __drm_debug_enabled
Commit 6ce6fae84536 ("drm_print: optimize drm_debug_enabled for jump-label") changed drm_debug_enabled() to print a warning debug message every time it's called: todo: is this frequent enough to optimize ? Because the Nouveau macros NV_DEBUG and NV_ATOMIC call drm_debug_enabled(), this message can appear hundreds of times when the driver is loaded with debug messages enabled. To

[PATCH v2 00/27] DP MST Refactors + debugging tools + suspend/resume reprobing
This is the large series for adding MST suspend/resume reprobing that I've been working on for quite a while now. In addition, I: - Refactored and cleaned up any code I ended up digging through in the process of understanding how some parts of these helpers worked. - Added some debugging tools along the way that I ended up needing to figure out some issues in my own code Note that

[PATCH 00/24] drm: add extern C guard for the UAPI headers
Hi all, As some of you may know there some subtle distinction between C and C++ structs, thus one should wrap/annotate them roughly like below. ... #if defined(__cplusplus) extern "C" { #endif struct foo { int bar; ... }; ... #if defined(__cplusplus) } #endif In order to work around the lack of these users can wrap the header inclusion in the same way. For example:
