[PATCH 3/4] drm/nouveau: Replace drm_gem_object_unreference_unlocked with put function
This patch unifies the naming of DRM functions for reference counting
of struct drm_gem_object. The resulting code is more aligned with the
rest of the Linux kernel interfaces.

[PATCH 17/29] drm/nouveau: switch to drm_*{get, put} helpers
drm_*_reference() and drm_*_unreference() functions are just
compatibility alias for drm_*_get() and drm_*_put() adn should not be
used by new code. So convert all users of compatibility functions to use
the new APIs.

[PATCH 3/3, resend with fixed to field] drm/nouveau: unpin buffers before releasing to prevent lockdep warnings
This will otherwise cause a lockdep splat, so warn when nouveau
forgets to unpin a buffer, and fix up the ones I've hit.

[PATCH 3/4] drm/nouveau: Remove field nvbo from struct nouveau_framebuffer
The buffer object stored in nvbo is also available GEM object in obj[0]
of struct drm_framebuffer. Therefore remove nvbo in favor obj[0] and
replace all references accordingly. This may require an additional cast.
With this change we can already replace nouveau_user_framebuffer_destroy()
and nouveau_user_framebuffer_create_handle() with generic GEM helpers.

[PATCH 00/29] DRM API conversions
This patch set replaces the occurrences of drm_*_reference() and
drm_*_unreference() with the new drm_*_get() and drm_*_put() functions.
All patches in the series do the same thing, converting to the new APIs.
I created patches per DRM driver as suggested by Daniel Vetter.
Background:
In the kernel, reference counting APIs use *_get(), *_put() style naming
to reference-count the objects. But DRM

[PATCH 09/20] drm/nouveau: Introduce GEM object functions

[PATCH 0/4] drm/nouveau: Replace {un/reference} with {put, get} functions
This patch set replaces functions named {un,reference} by their
{put, get} counterparts. Affected data types are struct drm_connector,
struct drm_framebuffer, struct drm_gem_object, and struct drm_device.
With the reference-counting functions being named {put, get}, the DRM
interface is more aligned to Linux kernel nameing standard. The patch
set does not change driver-internal interfaces.

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: add some basic debugfs dumping for nouveau's clients and vm mappings

making it slightly easier to determine which bo belongs to which vm address,
as long as that program is still running.

[PATCH libdrm] drm: Remove create_handle() drm_framebuffer "virtual".
Because all drivers currently use gem objects for framebuffer planes,
the virtual create_handle() is not required. This change adds a
struct drm_gem_object *gems[4] field to drm_framebuffer and removes
create_handle() function pointer from drm_framebuffer_funcs. The
corresponding *_create_handle() function is removed from each driver.
In many cases this change eliminates a struct *_framebuffer
