Basic Coverage
Hi My goal is that given a binary and the corresponding input. I want to know what IR level basic blocks are covered. I need the detail information, which is the set of all the covered BBs rather than just a number. I want to know whether there are some tools that can support this requirements. If not, I think maybe instrumentation can helps. However, I do not know too much about this. Any

possible inconsistency in PassManagerInternal.h
Hello, (fairly new around here, apologies if the question has an obvious answer) I've been studying the structure of the new PassManager in the hopes of using it soon. After watching a couple of talks (Chandler / Sergeev), I decided to start with the Concept/Model classes in PassManagerInternal.h While I could make sense of almost everything there, two details caught my attention: 1- The

online conversion using replication?
That works for a one-time migration, or perhaps via a cron-job, but what I want is basically a constant one-way backup and it seems replication could do it more elegantly & efficiently. -- Daniel On 9/1/2018 11:14 PM, Aki Tuomi wrote: > You don't need to setup replication for that. smbclient changed behaviour authentication-file
Hello, we are using Sambadav[1] with Samba 4.4 in our university, which relays on authentication-file with giving it a file descriptor. After 4.4 this does not any more and requires a filename. Is there something documented about this behaviour? Is there a new way to pass a file descriptor for authentication? Kind regards Philipp rehs [

Replacing a function from one module into another one
Hi Ahmad, What does that tool does besides what LLVM linker already does? I don't think my problem is in linking both modules, I think LLVM linker does the job for me, the issue is when changing the called function to call another function (in the example previously provided, to change it from foo2 to foo3, and adjusting the function parameter's references). Clang for the PlayStation 2
Hello, I'm part of the (sadly fairly small) community of PS2 hackers. The current cross-toolchain for the PS2 is based on GCC 3.2.3, an outdated and buggy compiler, which I have personally gotten tired of working with, so I would like to port Clang as a newer cross-compiler for the PS2. However, the PS2 has some notable quirks which make this a non-trivial task for the current compiler. It

LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN no longer working after upgrade?
We had to do a few changes in this area (due to security issues) over that large number of releases, it is entirely possible there was a regression. If you have time and patience, could you back up your DC, restore into a subdirectory (on your DC or on a test box) with 4.11.10 from git, and then do a git bisect between that and 4.18.5. You can run the query locally with bin/ldbsearch -H

LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN no longer working after upgrade?
I'm quite confused by this one, as I can't see how this would happen.. but after upgrading my DCs from 4.11.10 to 4.18.5, LDAP searches don't seem to work if they use the :1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941: modifier, aka LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN. (Yes, it was a fairly big version jump.. Yes, I should have upgraded much earlier.. Yes, I know 4.19.x is out now as well) Here's a search that

LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN no longer working after upgrade?
Thank you Andrew for the quick reply - much appreciated. Yes, I'll get on to this - I am certainly motivated to find out what's happening here. It is likely to take a few days but I'll post my findings. I'll look at setting up git bisect today, it should be possible for me to script it so that it will run by itself as I understand it, as I should be able to check the return value
