[PATCH] gpu: drm: nouveau: nvkm: nv40: Replace mdelay() with msleep() in nv40_sensor_setup()
nv40_sensor_setup() is never called in atomic context. It calls mdelay() to busily wait, which is not necessary. mdelay() can be replaced with msleep(). This is found by a static analysis tool named DCNS written by myself Signed-off-by: Jia-Ju Bai <baijiaju1990 at gmail.com> --- drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nvkm/subdev/therm/nv40.c | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-)

In qxl_crtc_atomic_flush(), there is an if statement on line 376 to check whether crtc->state is NULL: if (crtc->state && crtc->state->event) When crtc->state is NULL and qxl_crtc_update_monitors_config() is call, qxl_crtc_update_monitors_config() uses crtc->state on line 326: if (crtc->state->active) and on line 358: DRM_DEBUG_KMS(...,

Some problems about xenpaging
Hi, Olaf we have tested the xenpaging feature and found some problems. (1) the test case like this : when we start a VM with POD enable, the xenpaging is started at the same time. this case will cause many problems ,finally, we fixed the BUG, the patch is attached below. (2) there is a very serious problem. we have observed many VM crash examples, the error code is not always the same.

[PATCH] drm/nv50/disp: prevent false output detection on the original nv50
Commit ea9197cc323839ef3d5280c0453b2c622caa6bc7 effectively enabled the use of an improved DAC detection code, but introduced a regression on the original nv50 chipset, causing a ghost monitor to be detected. [PATCH v2 1/2] drm/nouveau: return temperatures in temp_get() via parameter
The temp_get() function currently returns negative error numbers or a temperature. However, the thermal sensors can (in theory) measure negative temperatures. Some implementations of temp_get() correctly clamp negative temperature readings to 0 so that users do not mistake them for errors, but some, like gp100_temp_get(), do not. Rather than relying on implementations remembering to clamp values,

[PATCH] Unified shutdown code
Attached and below are a patch that unifies the shutdown code paths in Xen, including those from EARLY_FAIL. This will facilitate the use of Intel(R) TXT for measured launch by ensuring that all shutdowns will call the necessary hook to tear down the measured environment. It also centralizes any future shutdown-related changes. The patch also postpones clearing the online status APs in

[RFC PATCH 01/29] therm: split return code and value in nvkm_get_temp
The current hwmon code doesn't check if the returned value was actually an error. Since Kepler temperature sensors are able to report negative values. Since Pascal (and maybe earlier) we have sensors with improved precision. Adjust the nvkm_get_temp method to be able to deal with those changes and let hwmon return an error properly. The current hwmon code doesn't check if the returned value was actually an error. Since Kepler temperature sensors are able to report negative values. Those negative values are not for error reporting, but rather when you buried your GPU in snow somewhere in Antarctica and still want a valid temperature to be reported (unverified). refactoring io_apic.c
OK, I need to do something like this to io_apic.c - split the hardware specific parts out under mach-default, so we can override them for other subarchitectures. It's not finished, needs header file and makefile work. Would you be willing to take this if I do it? I'm not going to bother if you're not, such refactorings are a pig to maintain out of tree. Frankly, io_apic.c needs a
